Dr. Murphy is a 5 star Rheumatologist
HOWEVER, I have hesitated for a long time to write this review about Dr. Murphy’s assistant Jamie by Giving her the benefit of the doubt. Jamie has caused me to miss out on getting my medication in a timely manner. I have been talking to her for the past two months in order to get my medication refilled. Because of her countless delays in getting an appointment with Dr. Murphy my renewal application approval has been delayed. In the meantime my medication has expired. My refill application is on hold because of her not paying attention by sending incomplete information to the recipient. I am so surprised due to her incompetence for so long to relay messages to Dr. Murphy about my concerns and needed appts that she is still there! His previous assistant LISA had impeccable bedside manners and was much more capable of showing the necessary skills to do something successfully. If you are not getting calls back, confirmation or appointments it’s no fault of Dr. Murphy, it’s Jamie!

Best Rheumatologist I’ve ever had!
I first saw Dr. Murphy around 10 or more years ago. He listened to what I had to say and what my issues were. Together we came up with a plan for my treatment. He always listens to what issues I have going on and includes me on what we will do next. I definitely recommend him.

My doctor retired, he was my doctor for 15 years. They switched me to Dr Murphy and I was just not satisfied with him. It turns out that once you go to a doctor at DAC, you cannot switch to another doctor. After calling them to honestly discuss my issue, they didn't have the professionalism to call me back. I received an email instead. It feels like they are heading in the wrong direction and don't really care about their patients like they used to. Bottom line, I am excited to try a new clinic!

DR MURPHY IS A VERY THOROUGH AND PATIENT DOCTOR. HE SPENT A LOT OF TIME EXPLAINING MY CONDITION TO BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I. I HAVE RECOMMENDED HIM SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS. HE IS TERRIFIC.

Dr. Murphy is one of the kindest and caring Dr's I have had the pleasure of seeing. He spends as much time as is necessary in explaining everything, and always makes sure that you are his one and only concern for that time.

Dr. Murphy was receptive to my health concerns but not willing to help me save significant amounts on my monthly prescription. I have requested for a heavily discounted prescription but he will not sign off on it. Dr. Murphy is causing me financial harm. Hippocratic Oath means nothing to Dr. Stephen Murphy. I have not had any contact form his office and when I have tried to contact I get an answering service.
