Dr. Stephen Naymick, DO

I met Dr. Naymick about 7 years ago when I was pregnant with my son. He was friendly and personable, but above all he listened to what I had to say and answered my questions thoughtfully and without talking down to me. He was part of the team that delivered my son and then he continued to be my gyn until I became pregnant with my daughter. Then he did it all again (including the delivery). Afterwards, he was my gyn again and now I'm pregnant and I couldn't be happier that he's still on the job. He has listened to me and treated me kindly and respectfully at every appointment. I can't recommend him enough.

I’ve had a lot of great experiences with Dr. Naymick! He performed a cesarean to deliver my first son almost 13 years ago now. Just a few weeks ago, he did my hysterectomy! I feel great! He has always thoroughly answered all my questions! Incredibly knowledgeable! Did not feel rushed at all! Always feels like he genuinely cares! I highly recommend Dr. Naymick!

Dr. Naymick essentially came in, saw that I was overweight, and preceded to make assumptions regarding my health, fertility, and lifestyle. He looked at me and said, “are you doing anything to lose weight?” And continued on to say my weight is the reason I couldn’t hold a pregnancy/ get pregnant, further implying that my miscarriages were in some way my fault. Questions he failed to ask: How were your previous pregnancies? Have you ever had any problems getting pregnant? What does your diet look like? Did you have high blood pressure or gestational diabetes with any of your pregnancies? What did they rule the cause of your last miscarriage as? His bedside manner was atrocious. He was insensitive and took no time to understand my medical history.I don’t have confidence in his competency to make medical decisions given he bases his judgment off of his own personal bias. I will not be returning.

Can't speak highly enough about Dr. Naymick. I met him for the first time today to have an endometrial biopsy and he couldn't have been more wonderful. Was very friendly, compassionate and explained everything as he went along. I had the sense he truly listened when I spoke to him and was taking in and considering what I said. This is the only interaction I've had with him, but he seems very attentive, thoughtful and thorough. I will definitely return to him and would highly recommend him.
