My husband walked into his office for a routine procedure to add temporary leads to an existing spinal cord stimulator for pain in his feet. After the procedure he was unable to walk and was in a wheelchair. Not once did they acknowledge their responsibility. It was like oh well you already had issues. Not once did they inquire as to how he was doing. His pain was relieved with a new battery that had programs to cover feet so he was swept under the carpet. They did not help with getting any of the help he needed and left it to other doctors to handle. His quality of life plummeted along with mine.

Awesome Doctor
Dr Pyles is a very nice caring doctor. After suffering with chronic back, neck and tailbone pain he listened and has helped me. The pain is almost totally gone. I love his nurse. The people from Boston Scientific are great.

Best dr ever
So far after 3 appointments they have always been on time and answer any questions I have on the phone if they can. Plus they think they know what is causing my dibilitating pain and I have an MRI to confirm!

Grateful. Just plain grateful.
Real PEOPLE with real SOLUTIONS that really do help. A Spinal Cord Stimulator has ended YEARS of pain and pills, AND I HAVE MY LIFE BACK. I have been in a wheelchair twice, having had both hips replaced and 8 spinal surgeries. There was wasn't much left for me and for my future......and then I met Dr. Pyles and STAFF. Now, I can walk some, sleep through the night, and I GOT MY LIFE BACK. Maybe, THEY CAN HELP you too, and also end the kind of pills, pain and madness that I endured. Many thanks to them, and God bless them. Kevin

Pain cream
I just used your pain cream on my hand which was swollen and painful. I couldn’t even make a fist. After 3 applications I can now make a fist with no pain. I’m an 82 year old former firefighter who has known pain most of my life and this is the first product that does what it says it will do. Thank you.

Irresponsible, unethical, inappropriate, arrogant
I have never in my life left a review for a doctor, positive or negative. I’m leaving this review because I can’t believe how arrogant and inappropriate this man was. The “do no harm” part of the oath was violated. A lot, actually. Mr. Pyles is either unaware of his place in the dominant position in the power dynamic here or he’s aware and he just does not care to respect it OR the patient. I have a message to YOU in particular Mr. Pyle: In pain management, the DOCTOR IS IN CONTROL OF THE PATIENTS ABILITY TO LIVE A FUNCTIONAL LIFE. You need to RESPECT THIS. I felt unable to stand up for myself while YOU totally disrespected me, undermined my intelligence, and JUDGED ME. I was upfront about my mental state, and you abused that. You are not fit for patients. You do not see your patients as people. You were verbally aggressive, insulted me, and belittled me. Your staff apologized for you because you LEFT THE ROOM. This is irresponsible and unethical and your non-apology not accepted.

Do not recommend
Went for a new patient visit. Dr. Plyes did not request my records from my last pain doctor . He was going by what I put down. He then tried to tell me my Medical problems I have had for 30 years is not my problem. Note he had no records he started to raise his voice at me. He wouldn’t let me talk. I had to literally tell him to stop talking to let me talk. I felt very attacked. And was very upset when I left. I never went back after that visit. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Simply put Dr. Pyles is incredibly amazing. He is a highly skilled professional, knowledgable in all that he does and most importantly has the best bedside manner you will ever find in a doctor. Dr. Pyles carefully listens to your complaints and helps you with your ailments to eliminate them in the best possible way. My mother was in agonizing pain when she went to see Dr. Pyles, thankfully he was able to help her with her pain allowing her to be able to function in her day to day life. We greatly appreciate all that Dr. Pyles does for us. He has truly been a Godsend!!!

Was treated as though I was only there for drugs.Would not let me explain anything wanted a yes and no answer. He was very disrespectful, and did this with a smile on his face.He stated he does not give more than 3 oxycodone a day when I told him they lasted only 5 hrs his reply was he knew this I ask him what was I supposed to do and he shrugged his shoulders.I told him I had a rhizotomy 4 years ago and that I had been out of pain for 4 years his reply was"I have been doing rhizotomies for 35 years and I have never heard of that".. I told him it was apparent that he did not believe and our relationship would not work.Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dr.Like I said after 4 years of being pain free, because of the rhizotomy, the pain has returned.

Dr. Pyles and Staff are the absolute best. Caring about their patients is a given. I just can't say enough about this wonderful Dr. I have known him for 30 years, and still think the World of him. He helped me 30 years ago, when I was in an accident, that left me in severe pain. So years later, when I needed his services again, he was there to help. Wish all Doctors had the compassion and caring that he and staff have. Sometimes the wait time might be a little long, but that could be you that he is helping.

Pushed morphine pump. Installed it $ I spent the weekend throwing up at home. Multiple calls to office with no help from Dr. Pyles. 12 days later, after feeling totally miserable, he found a spinal fluid leak at the office $ I went back into hospital for another operation. No explanation for why it happened or how he fixed it. Again more throwing up with no help from office or Dr. Pyles. Two visits to ER later & back to Dr. Pyles office where he went ballistic after we mentioned the ER tried to contact him. He yelled at us for 2 hours & even brought his staff into our visit to back him up which I felt violated my heppa rights. He wouldn't let my wife ask questions & I was in such misery I could barely talk. He jumped up, said he was dumping us & came back with a referral. Another visit to ER & admitted to hospital. He never visited me at hospital & said none of this was his problem. A hospital nurse said Pyles hates calls & questions. We feel our care & treatment was negligent. Beware

Went to this doctor a few months. First visit with Dr. Pyles was great. He did mention his spinal stimulator. The next few visits was with his NP Marty. He did nothing but push the stimulator or a pain pump. I wanted neither and was basically given an ultimatum. Try to force you to do something you don’t want to do. Don’t go here

Dr. Pyles correctly diagnosed my hip pain after other doctors had failed to do so for many years. He treated my right SI joint with outpatient surgery and I am now pain free. I recommend Dr. Pyles to anyone who is patient and will listen and do what he suggests.
