Smart, Intelligent, caring, Attentive and Concerne
He listens closely. He explains - he makes a diagnosis and gives you the facts and answers your questions. By the time I leave his office I am at ease. I’ve been heard, I have a knowledgeable diagnosis, a road map to recovery. His diagnosis and his instructions are right on the mark. I trust what he says, how he says it, and how he prescribes. I’m lucky to have. Him as my doctor.

Going on 48 years of being a oatient
Both my husband and myself have been with Dr. Rittmann of almost 50 years. Kind, caring, compassionate from day 1. Listens to you when asking questions and answers in a way that you as the patient understand. Doesn't rush you if you need more time. I have 'white coat ' syndrome and and am terrified of going to the doctor. I don't know what I will do if Dr. Rittmann retires 100%.

Does not spend a lot of time with patient. He never gets back to patient with any kind of test results. Seems like he is always in a hurry. When he has a teaching student he just hears what they have to say then asks you if you have questions then leaves. If you don’t want to see his student then he is rude to you and annoyed he has to see you. I will say this you are in and out fast.

Dr. Rittman is a terrible physician. He does not respond to calls, he does not address abnormal labs. My mom has had to dictate her own care because this doctor does not. If you care about yourself or your family members, do not let them see this doctor.

He and his staff are not friendly or care at all. I use his office over 3 years. Finally I decide to change it. I ask for referral on Feb 14 2019. It took 3 weeks still not done right. I drove to his office to require a print out referral, and brought to my foot doctor office. It was wrong again. Can’t believe that I spend 3 weeks, many calls, still was wrong. I ask the clerk to call my special doctor office to confirm this referral. DR rittman office clerks refuse to call.

I can't share enough positive remarks about Dr. Rittmann. I truly love this man; as a physician - he has been my doctor for 17 yrs, even when I wasn't a very likable patient. He took care of my mom when she had terminal cancer and is my father's primary after I referred them to him. One of the best diagnosticians I have ever seen - for those who don't like dealing w/med students, get over yourselves. This is how they learn - someone put up with you when you were inexperienced, too.

Dr. Rittmann has terrible interpersonal skills. He allows the students to do the full examination. He never sits in or doublechecks their diagnosis. I could have A cold and they could diagnose me with cancer for all I know. Never going to see him again. He also never looks up from his tablet that he carries anyway. Not sure if he is a physician or an IT guy. Found a better physician
