Disappointed
Very condescending, just plain rude and unfeeling, told not to make another appointment because I can not do steroid injections. Felt so defeated, was literally sobbing and he just did not care. The Staff was always good to me. Such a shame.

He has a poor bedside manner and made a prescription error without checking the chart. Would not recommend.

Is there a negative star to rate him? Horrible.
Not impressed at all. Rude and very condescending. He clearly didn't read the x-ray that was provided or he would have known a major event happened with the patient's back. He actually said he didn't read records from birth until now. The event happened a few years ago not decades ago. He also said there was nothing else to try - no one else will do anything for the patient. My family is appalled and regret giving him more than one chance to do more and be a better doctor. If you have a family member going to him; please advocate for your loved one. We will move on and find better care for her. Complete waste of time and energy.

Dr.Schmid takes his time each time ive gone in for a visit anwswers all your questions getting a appt has all ways been easy the only thing is every time i have gone to my appt i have to wait a long time to be seen no matter what day or time my appt is other wise i am satisfied

Great pain management Dr
I’ve been a patient of Dr Schmidt since Dr Smith retired. I believe Dr Schmidt cares a great deal about doing everything he can to manage my pain. He’s very empathetic, as are his nursing staff.. My opinion after 10 + years great office

Stephen Schmidt is the best pain management doctor I have been to. Dr. Schmidt is the only Pain Management doctor who has found the answer to my pain. I’m so thankful and happy to get my life back without the pain without pain meds.

Today was a bit different. The front desk personnel, very kind. Today the dr acted like someone torked him off before he saw me. Not very nice. I expected the same doctor as before. He looked the same but I dont think it was the same doctor. Lol. During my procedure?, first time nurses were great, this time all they did was talk about each others lives and were completely different. Idk what happened but it honestly didnt seem like the same place. I'll give it one more go but I will not be treated like I'm the jerk.

Unfavorable, very condescending towards patients. Doesn't seem to be interested in hearing the patients thoughts on their own condition. I'm a highly educated technical professional and I find him very difficult to deal with. From what I understand his practice is under a great deal on pressure due to too many patients. Maybe he needs to invest in a partner?

Horrible. He apparently doesn't like to see patients so that means you have to see his HORRIBLE nurse practitioner who shouldn't be working in this field at all. Dr Schmidt is rude and gruff. You feel like you're taking up his time. It's not a good place. The last time I was there I couldn't believe the comments from his other patients all trying to find other doctors. This place should be shut down.

The wait time is so frustrating, especially because they are so particular about patients arriving on time, only to wait an hour. Dr. Schmidt takes an invasive approach and dismissed my idea of physical therapy, opting for more drugs.
