Dr. Stephen Struble, MD

Was it caused by a horrible car accident, was it a deformity I was born with, did I incur debilitating injuries while serving my country, did I think of taking my life and jump off a building, and forced to live with terrible leg injuries.. NO… this pain, suffering, and mental anguish was from a routine hip replacement on a healthy active 70 year old male looking forward to being active the rest of his life. The suffering doesn’t just stop with the hip pain it leads to weakness in other extremities in the lower body..the hamstrings, calves…it takes away your ability to bike and swim, which a lack of, causes you to lose upper body and core strength, and this leads to a loss of outlets to release stress. Eventually your mental health and spirit is taken away from you. The doctor who performed the operation…Stephen Struble.

If you’re reading this, chances are you are considering a hip, knee or a joint surgery or even replacement; if you’re hurting and emotional about your pain, don’t rush your decision on what surgeon you choose. Do your homework, and do it like you’ve never done it before, the quality of your life will depend on it. The good doctors are backed up 3 months because they are in demand, but the poor ones have openings in a week or two because prospective patients do their homework, see the red flags, and grin and bare the pain and wait for the good docs. Its been two year since my hip replacement surgery with Struble and I've been left as crippled, I look like a crippled, who can only walk with a limp, no active sports for me. Looks like I'm running out of room to point out the red flags with Struble. I'll get back with you later and let you know what sites list Struble's red flags. But hears two:1) Compare his reviews to his peers.2) As a solo operation he answers to no one.

Both vistits were 45 minutes or longer. The doctor went and saw another patient during his consultation with me after he asked for copies of xrays, even though there were other things I had to discuss with him including getting an injection in my shoulder which he could have given me while waiting on the xrays instead of leaving me for another patient! The 50 minute wait now was turning into an even longer wait. He didn't even check back in before going to the next patient. I was literally shocked and dumbfounded! I decided after waiting just a bit longer I was walking out! This was ridiculous!!! I had never been treated so badly by a doctor before.

Dr. Struble and his staff are great as in GREAT. Dr. Struble will sit and listen to all your concerns. He will give you his honest advice and will not push you into having surgery or any other procedure you are not ready for. Just go in and visit with him and you will be so glad you did. I have recommended so many people his way and they have all been very pleased and like him

I have both my knees replaced by Dr.Struble. He is a great doctor, excellent surgeon who along with his team provided awesome service, medical care, consulting before, during and after the surgeries. I appreciates all of his services and highly recommend him, he is one of the best doctors in the area!

So thankful we have a physician like Dr. Strouble. He’s is gifted and so courteous.

I had total knee replacement by Dr Stephen Struble two years ago and it is the best thing I have ever done. He was wonderful from start to finish. He explained in detail what he was going to do, how I would feel, my length of stay in the hospital and what to expect for recovery. The entire process was so much better than I ever expected.

Terrible. Three appointments. Over one. Hour wait each time. could Not answer basic questions. When he did answer, he contradicted himself.

He is very caring. I recommended to one of my friends that has O2 issues and has not problem dealing with it. He explains in simple terms to make you understand clearly.

Dr. Struble exceeded my expectations. I had hip replacement surgery and he guided me every step of the way. He was there to answer my questions day and night. I even sent pictures via text and was very impressed with the quick response from Dr. Struble personally. His skill and technique are the best. I have recovered much quicker and better than I thought and was back at work in three weeks. His staff was great too!
