Office staff is the absolute worst
Dr. Trammell is a great doctor as well as Toby who I believe is the NP there. The office staff will be the reason they lose patients. Every single time I call their office I’m always handled as if I’m an inconvenience. Whatever help they do provide its almost begrudgingly, like they would rather not help or deal with us as patients but they have to. very much like this is their office and we just so happen to be patients. Unprofessional is an understatement.

very good
I see Toby (nurse practitioner), I have never had a problem. she always take her time and go over everything with me. She and the nurses are never in a hurry to get me in and out. They are very good at their job. The same for the ladies at the front desk.

My husband was hit by a car and taken to hospital with lots of life threatening injuries. He suffered a TBI. The trauma neurologist scheduled a follow up. When we got to the appointment, we found out we needed a referral from our PCP. We have been patients for 15+ years. After 30 minutes of being on the phone with the front office people, I was basically told that Trammell would not give us a referral because he didn’t see my husband for the accident. I asked the office person if I was supposed to get care flight to drop him off there on the way to the hospital so that the doctor could verify he was in an accident. We are still in the hospital in a rehab facility so he can’t come see you. Find another doctor!! Unbelievable! The office told me to try to get a new PCP and see if they would help. Like some Doctor who doesn’t know us from Adam on the street would give us a referral versus someone who’s been our doctor for over 15 years (?)

Pass on this one!! The office in Ovilla is poorly managed and overbooked. Good luck actually seeing the doctor. I waited six weeks for annual physical and to establish as a new patient only to be seen by a nurse practitioner student.

HORRIBLE beside manner. My 66 year old mother has Meniere's disease and to make matters worse she had a stroke recently. Her Dr moved back to his home country. She was recommended to Dr Trammell by a friend. My father went with her as it is difficult for her to walk due to vertigo and the stroke. I am appalled by what he said. I am paraphrasing, but he told her she is a drug addict! He agreed to continue seeing her, but without providing symptom relief for her Meniere's disease. Anyone who has Meniere's disease knows how debilitating and miserable it can be. Furthermore labeling her a drug addict on looks/first impression alone shows his lack of compassion. I wish my mother asked him to perform a drug test on her so he could see the error of his ways, but my mom is a meek non-confrontational person.

Hello I've been going to Dr. Trammell since 2005. Its so sad that I will be moving to a new family practictioner. I went for an appointment that my insurance did not cover, which is fine. What is not fine is that after several test that was ran on me, I was told by a nurse that I had abnormal tests results. I asked to Speak with Dr. Trammell and she told me that he was with another patient, it would be a few minutes but the Office Manager can speak with you. I need to speak with my doctor!

This place is the worst. Not only did they charge me for lab work and lie but the staff is the most disrespectful and beyond rude. I will not be going back and I advise anybody looking for a doctor to go else where. Many can’t return calls but can leave a argument note on google reviews. Oh my how unprofessional, just like the staff. I see where it comes from. Please take this review seriously because you will see for yourself if you make the mistake of going here for your medical needs.

Staff is very nice; front office is extremely good about scheduling appointments and rarely do I have to sit in the waiting room for long. The PAs are very helpful though sometimes they can seem rushed. For any complex issues, of course, I prefer to see Dr. Trammell. There can be a longer exam room wait for the doctor.

I like Dr. T and his NP... especially Tobi. Nurses are always nice and the front ladies try hard dealing with patients who are not as nice as they are.
