After going to multiple providers for my sons condition, I can honestly say that Dr. Tsang was the best thing to happen to our family. He informed my family and I about the the ongoing works in the field and how the future may hold treatment opportunities for us. Although we understand that nothing is available for us right now, we are just happy to be under the care of someone who is working so hard to advance the field and help people like us!

Dr. Tsang's care and compassion for his patients is second to none. On the day I went I saw how busy his clinic was, but he made the time to address all of my questions. I left feeling much more informed and reassured about my situation.

Fantastic healthcare provider.
Dr. Tsang is an outstanding physician and healthcare provider. He had the utmost respect and kindness for me as a patient and my family who was accompanying me. He delivered my diagnosis in a soft and caring manner and took the time to explain to my family as well. Dr. Tsang truly cares about his patients and I would recommend him to anyone in need of a retina specialist.

Unpleasant Experience
Dr Tsang may well be a leader in his field, but my experiences have ben most unpleasant. I felt that he was uncaring, lacked follow-up and demonstrated poor chair-side manner. His staff can be rude, and unresponsive. More than once I have been left hanging. He treated me very poorly. The only time I would hear from his office was when they were trying to sell me a service. When I see all the positive reviews her, I wonder if they are referring to another doctor entirely.

Yes, I’m sure Dr. Tsang is very accomplished when it comes to research. As an actual Doctor to a patient, I could not have had a worse experience. He didn’t even listen to any of my concerns and he dismissed experiences I had and acted like it was no big deal. Well guess what, he was dead wrong with his “diagnosis” and it ends up my initial concerns were correct. Now this will extend the time I have to fix this problem and end up costing me more money due to missed work. Maybe next time, try actually listening to the patient - we’re not all hypochondriacs.

The absolute worst office. I tried calling them 4 times over 7 months to ask if the results for my tests were ready, and they would promise to call back to let me know . But nobody ever called back. They treated me like a beggar not a patient! Additionally, the doctor might be one of the best in the field of research, however, in terms of patient care, he treated me like a disease but not a human. he didn’t explain anything to me during the visit about my condition. All they cared about was taking my blood for research, but completely ignored me otherwise. Very dehumanizing experience.
