Excellent Doctor! I was seen for pericarditis and autoimmune related issues .. High does of prednisone involved.... Dr. Vampola has helped to achieve cardiac wellness....and drop weight. From size 18 to size 12 , after I followed his recommendations to a T on Cardiac health , diet and exercise. He works very well with all my doctors and facilities where I live, 3 hours away. Always a prompt follow up, tests ordered, results explained, considerate of my medical history and past medications tried or not effective. works with me and has never been dismissive. Dr. Vampola is a great doctor I hope you are able to make an appointment with him... I trust him 100%. Thank you Dr. Vampola for your continued Cardiac Excellence and Professionalism.

When I first saw Dr Vampola I loved him and found him very helpful and great to interact with. But then I saw him again later; this time, I had a rapid heart rate, which turned out to be a symptom of the Cushing's Disease I was diagnosed with afterward. Dr Vampola made me gas-lit and attacked in this appointment, and it was one of the worst doctors' appointments I have ever had. Someone I had recommended go to him after my first wonderful appointment with him reported the same problem to me. Dr Vampola was dismissive and even vindictive to this person as well. I let it go, but recently, a heart medication I need that Dr Vampola had prescribed for me was running out, and his office wasn't filling. I called the office, and they said I would need to see Dr Vampola to get it refilled. I was honest, I admitted to them that I had a bad appointment with Dr. Vampola, but since I needed the prescription, I needed his help to refill it while I looked for a new doctor. No refill or call back

Dr Vampola is highly competent and informed. He’s easy to talk with and explains things very well. I have great confidence in him.

Initially comes off as caring, knowledgeable but try asking questions and he'll get combative, upset, and condescending. Seems to be seeing a lot of patients, and is quick to draw conclusions and make prescriptions or order procedures. Don't expect to have a friendly, doctor-type conversation. IMO, for something as important as your heart, you can do a lot better.

Terrible. He does not show up for a scheduled appointment. After his staff sends out 6 notices, that were confirmed. Then staff lies about attempting to contacting me while, I am standing at the counter on time. I cannot trust my heart issues to an organization that is that incompetent.

Dr Vampola is highly knowledgeable and competent in his field. His approach is collaborative, engaging the patient in the decision making process and taking the time to explain the evidence properly so that an informed decision can be made. His manner is friendly and supportive while maintaining the necessary degree of authority. Bedside manners are impeccable. Truly cares for his patients. Office staff is friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Dr Vampola to all who seek a great cardiologist
