Dr. Hilgers has a great bedside manner. No condescension at all, no holier-than-thou attitude that many surgeons/specialists can have. I found him to be empathetic and good listener.

Our experience with Dr. Hilgers was one of the best I have had. Dr. Hilgers took time to explain the details, provided papers that went into more detail, answered our questions in great detail, provided a plan. He is one of the only doctors that has taken more than 1 hour to go through the details and was not in a rush. He is amazing and I am looking forward to working with him.

Dr. Hilgers is the most incredible doctor I have ever had. He is extremely thorough and really seeks to address the root of the problem, and gives the most helpful explanations about the diagnosis, the course of treatment, and any questions. I shared his baseball analogy with friends with similar Issues and we all found it extremely helpful. His bedside manner Is wonderful, he is so kind and understanding while also professional and Instills great confidence. For the first time, I leave the gynecologist with a huge smile on my face. He is more than worth the 4 hour round trip drive.

He was very caring and took time to explain things. Cared not to overwhelm and was patient with re-explaining aspects I didnt understand. Also is the first doctor to truly acknowledge my pregnancy losses and show deep desire to help me and my family. So grateful to find him!

I have stage 4 endometriosis. December 2018 I got my only fallopian tube flushed by Dr. Hilgers. I tried the process for months but around 5 months my tube became blocked again. I still kept praying & going with the process till surgery. I had surgery to remove the tube with Dr. Hilgers & started the IVF process. Luckily I removed the tube when I did becomes a month after IVF retrieval I found out I have breast cancer. We had to start chemo & didn’t have time to do another retrieval. Sadly now I’m stuck breast cancer, chemo & with a $8000 bill from the Fallopian tube removal because Dr. Hilgers didn’t agree with my fertility decision. He’s a great doctor if you follow his plan but if you want to seek other fertility methods maybe you should seek a second opinion. If I didn't get the surgery when I did I wouldn’t have the possibility to have biological kids.
