My appointment with Dr McKinnon was one of the best Dr Visits that I have ever had. I cannot stress how smooth easy and pleasant that the appointment was. The Office staff were nice and very competent. Dr McKinnon was personable and explained what was going on with my eyes in a way that I could easily understand. He spent time getting to know me and talk with me and was not rushing me out of the office. I look forward to my next appointment in a year.

I had an appointment this morning to see Dr. McKinnon. I arrived and offered my Medicare and and secondary insurance and was then informed that if I wanted to see the doctor I would have to give them a Fifty Dollar copay! I have never experienced this before and left. I followed up with Both insurance companies and was told that Dr. McKinnon's staff were mistaken. Secondly, If Dr. McKinnon did not accept this insurance, I should have been informed of that WHEN I made the appointment.

He has treated all of my kids. He does an amazing job with the kids, makes them feel comfortable & is very knowledgeable in treatment.

I never met the doctor. The receptionist was pleasant, the doctors assistant had no personality whatsoever. The eye exam was scheduled 2 weeks in advance for 9:30 a.m. I choose mornings so there is usually no waiting due to emergencies and over scheduling. I waited 90 minutes and decided Dr. McKinnon was not worth my time. I will reschedule with a less greedy doctor and they can keep my co-pay. Seriously, how many people were scheduled from opening @ 9 till 9:30? Live and learn.
