Seems like fraud to me instead of a doctor improper billing practice taking advice of patients do not recommend

Don't have any complaints with Dr. Alfond. He was great and puts you to ease. I do however have a complaint against their billing department. They are careless and disorganized. They processed my claim wrong - the claim was from Jan, its still unresolved & its Sept! I paid them for a claim and they still sent me notices that I hadn't paid. They know how long it takes to get payment from insurance but call you ferociously asking for payment. I even got a call at 9am on a Sat morning!

Typical anesthesia setup - always out of network but after you are already prepped to go under. billed $600 minimum of which insurance paid $364 then wanted the rest. Threatened to sell it to a debt collection agency as an unpaid bill of $2156. When you are about to be operated on, always right next to your signature "contingent on all services under my insurance"
