Best hip replacement surgeon.
Dr. Steven Anderson, AppOrtho in Boone, NC performed 2 hip replacements for me within 7 months apart this year. He did a perfect plus surgery job, and I would firsthand highly recommend him for anyone that needs to experience a better quality of life, away from joint pain.Starting with all his staff; PT, nurses, x-ray technicians, frond desk at Appalachian Otho and all the rest of his team including everyone at Watauga Hospital, it was for me a positive experience. I am pain free now and I only have great thanks for everyone involved in my hip's replacement journey, especially Dr. Anderson.

Dr Anderson replaced my left hip on June 1 2020. I was up using crutches in 2 days and only a cane in 10 days, then without in 14 days, thanks to a well performed surgery and lots of PT. I had no bruising and very little swelling.

Very polite. Explained everything I could understand. And told me it would be in my best interest to have surgery. But I had to make the decision. I had total knee surgery and am glad I had it. I would recommend him. He was great. You just have to do everything they tell you to do. Wether you like it or not. Even if it hurts. I am glad I had mine done.
