Beware the Butcher, Block! He should be banned from operating on any foot. Two weeks after a very noisy surgery in his office during the noon hour, he had to "undo" part of the operation, charging another outrages fee. Six months after surgery, I'm having the same problem he was paid to fix! One star only because it is required to post a review. If you need foot/ankle surgery don't hesitate to contact OSMO in Owensboro. Their ankle/foot surgeon, Dr. Henning, did a beautiful job on my other foot and displays the ideal demenor for a doctor. (NO EGO Problem whatsoever) They also do not hound you for money before charges are processed by Medicare.

Drive as far as you need to to see ANYONE else. The office actually called to threaten me to pay the bill of an adult who happens to be on my insurance policy. The told me they would sue me, almost doubling the bill, then put a lien on my house if I did not pay it. Unprofessional and ridiculous. Would not take my dog to him.

Very fast visit. Will check with Medicare to see what My charges were for. Talked to male with me and I was only heard when I pushed it. Will find a new doctor.

Dr Block was recommended to us by Dr. John Howard. I brought my 9 year old granddaughter in for a an ingrown toenail after a terrible experience she had at the Owensboro Health Urgent Care on Ford Ave. Dr. Block and staff took time to build her trust and answer all her questions. Dr. Block spent more time with her than I've ever seen a doctor with a patient. He made her feel at ease and kept reassuring her that if she had any pain he would stop. Kudos to you and your staff! I saw Dr Block starting April 2016, I saw him several times for plantar fasciitis , but I quit going, I felt no compassion , gave me a cortisone shot in my ARCH with NO numbing first!!! Unbearable Pain . He was always hurried An rude, seemed bothered if I asked questions, I kick myself for allowing this kind of treatment, I found another Dr whom I feel comfortable with An has greatly helped me, I do not. Encourage anyone to see Dr Block , his staff was great but that's the best I can say

I made an appt. to have my toenails looked at and how to care for them, plus I'm a diabetic. when they called to confirm my appt. I had to explain again that it's my toenails. At my appt. I had to tell them I'm here for my nails. The nurse at least look at my feet. Dr glance at my feet and inform me it was a fungus, told me we need to do a circulation check. Then clipped and yanked my nails off. left them all jagged and cut me. left me to clean up my own bloody toe. This is the basics U decide
