Initial consultation was great, took the time to explain everything in a way that made sense. Even drew pictures of the procedure that made so much sense. Never felt rushed or feeling dumb. Pre op and procedure was a breeze - didn’t feel anxious at all. Buds was great, would recommend to anyone.

I had a hernia repair done with mesh. Months after the procedure I was having pains and cramps where the mesh was implanted. Turns out the mesh was recalled. When I returned to Buda for a follow up about my pain and discomfort he didn’t even place a hand on my abdomen and told me I was fine. During my visit he seemed condescending and dismissive about my issues. He told me to get an ultrasound from Methodist which was thousands of dollars and his staff informed me that he would only look at Methodist provided ultrasounds. I decided to get a second opinion from a decent surgeon who, after looking through my symptoms (and touching my abdomen) came to the conclusion that my mesh had failed. Now I’m scheduled for a second surgery to fix Budas sloppy job. Apparently Buda didn’t want to take responsibility for his improperly performed surgery.

Dr Buda performed my gallbladder removal, then a bowel resection. He does a great job of explaining the problem and the proposed solution. Draws great pictures to help explain! He and his team made me feel very comfortable about the surgery and he always stopped by post-surgery to check in. I would highly recommend him!

Dr Buda was articulate, compassionate and a true professional in every sense of the word! With a possible surgery in my future, he sketched out my situation and explained it well. Based on my experience and situation with Dr. Buda, I would recommend him to anyone possibly needing surgery without reservation.

Dr Buda was amazing. I had 3 different appointments with him, besides my surgery. He is the rare doctor who takes the time to LISTEN to you, answer your questions, discusses options and what each entails, and explains it all to you in a way that you completely understand. He even diagrams and draws it all out, where you can understand. Did an awesome job on my surgery, where I have just the tiniest of scars that is truly barely noticeable. My level of pain was alot less than what we expected, due to his precision with his surgery and stitches and no nerve damage.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Buda and his team. From the first consultation to post surgery follow up they have taken the time to explain thoroughly what to expect through out the process. They exceeded my expectations at each and every visit. Thanks so very much.

Five stars is not enough. Dr. Buda is the real deal. There is nothing I can say that could accurately described the level of excellence he & his staff mantain.

Dr. Buda is a great surgeon that takes the time to explain your surgery and answer all your questions. He has fantastic bedside manner and makes you feel comfortable through the entire experience.

Dr Buda is absolutely incredible. My wife had horrific complications from an infection that ultimately needed several surgeries to repair. Dr Buda's ability to explain everything was excellent. Above all his bedside manner is unequalled. We strongly recommend Dr Buda.
