He saved me from surgery and a 6-month recovery
He encouraged me to do PT and to take a few cortisone shots to reduce inflammation while I built up scar tissue and muscle strength rather than endure rotator cuff surgery. I’m an extreme sports practitioner and now I have full strength in my arm and chest again, I’m pain free, and I’m confident that I can manage my equipment and situation in the extreme weather conditions that make my sports possible. Thanks for not rushing to cut into me.

I've been seeing Dr. Callihan for years with knee pain. I did not want to have surgery but I had tried every option possible, medicine, physical therapy, injections nothing helped. I had a knee replacement two months ago ... it has been a life changer. Finally, I'm able to play with the grandchildren, walk on the beach and enjoy life.

I would not recommend Dr. Callihan. I was healthy except for arthritis in my left knee. I went in to have what should have been a normal knee replacement. I now have permanent nerve damage, my leg muscles don't work right and my leg swells on a daily basis. I haven't sued him is because South Carolina law makes you find another doctor who will state there was a deviation of standard procedure causing my issues. Since there were no other doctors operating on me, that is impossible.

Good listener. I've had pain in my knees for years. Dr. Callihan discussed several options for treatment. I had a Synvisc injection that has really helped my quality of life.
