Dr. Steven Conlin, MD

Excellent communication, bedside manner. Very thorough in assessment and diagnosis.

I do not recommend Steven M. Conlin, PA-C (Middlesex Health Emergency Medicine). I had been examined two days prior and diagnosed with a high suspicion of crusted scabies (severe parasitic infestation). After only the first of two medicated cream applications intended to cure this, I found the mite burrowing tunnels in my face. I saw them, felt them, and documented them with pictures. Conlin examined me for less than two minutes and confidently concluded there were no signs of it and left. I had a severe panic attack at this time because I could feel the mites and was overwhelmed by the entire experience. I requested anti-anxiety medication or a sedative. Conlin had a nurse bring me an antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia (Olanzapine). I was shocked and refused. He said I should I see a 'crisis intervention specialist.' His discharge notes state a possible chronic skin-picking mental disorder and 'a rash' as his diagnosis. Never even scratched myself. Health issue still persists.
