My last visit, on March 27, 2019 is my last time seeing Dr. Drabek. I have put up with not only him but his rude staff! Dr. Tries to put words in my mouth to fit his agenda- not my problems! Took me off of OXY 80,s due to ins. He kept trying to talk me into quitting before this happened. Now I’m on some worthless med called XTampa ER. Worthless stuff. Only gave me a few more 15’s. He’s told me all antidepressants work the same, etc! Think he may be losing it at his age!

I always find Dr. Drabek patient and ready to listen. He is very understanding of my physical problems and respectful of my feelings. Dr. Drabek always offers practical solutions for my health problems if an RX is not what I need. When calling for a refill, his office will usually call me within about an hour telling me the pharmacy has been notified. Very importantly to me, he has a sense of humor, which always makes me feel better when Ieaving than I did upon arriving.

Dr Drabek was very rude. My first appt he said it was God who gave me cancer. After 3 months, he was still confused about what my problem was. Every time I said I was having trouble doing something, he would say I just didn't want help. The last visit I said I wasn't sure why he didn't believe me and he was furious saying "I never said I didn't believe you" He was so confused and very condescending.

He told me there is nothing that you can do for fibromyalgia (although I insisted that my back issue is something different) and no medicines are effective for it. The only thing to do is execersise and push trough the pain. He did recommended physical therapy which I agree with. He sent me out of the office with a very grim outlook on my future. Thank goodness he was my second opinion and I have found another doctor who wants to try injections to actually help the pain.

I initiated reducing my 6 mg dosage on a controlled substance for anxiety. He reduced my dosage 1 mg per day. I had horrible with drawl. When I called about it I was told he wouldn't raise it to wean me off gradually. I was told by my new doctor I could've had seizures & died with such a drastic reduction. I had no idea. I trusted him since he has a medical professional. I would not recommend him to anyone.
