Excellent Surgeon
I've had two surgeries with Dr Drayer and am completely satisfied with the results. Three years ago, he reattached the ligament in my right arm and the recovery was very fast. This year, I had to have my left hip joint replaced and, again he preformed wonders with my left leg. Two months after the surgery, I'm walking and getting ready for golf season.

Great Surgeon
I have used Dr Drayer for several procedures over the years. He is incredibly knowledgeable. My father had to have shoulder replacement during the procedure there were unforeseen complications that caused my mother to have to make a decision. Due to the fact that Dr Drayer had covered all options with me prior to my own replacement I was able to understand what needed to change and what would be beneficial to my father’s situation with my help and Dr Drayer’s knowledge treatment was modified and very successful. I have seen Dr Drayer for several years he and his staff are incredible to work with. They as a whole take patient care to a whole different level and that is very rare in today’s health systems. His staff is very courteous caring and wonderful to work with. I recommend Dr Drayer and his staff to all who are looking for quality care and great people. Thank you for everything over the years.

I am writing this review on Thanksgiving Day 2020 on purpose, because I am so thankful that Dr. Drayer (with a bit of help from a robot) performed my total knee replacement surgery exactly two weeks ago. I am so happy with Dr. Drayer's services, as well as those of his staff, that I did not want to wait until I am back on a golf course again to write this review! Dr. Drayer was kind, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, answered my every question, and was backed up by a staff that displays the same qualities. I would mention names but for the fear of omitting someone who I didn't meet who may have done some work on my case without meeting me face to face. The Hospital staff I met also made me aware that they share my opinion!

Dr. Drayer has been my "go-to" orthopedic surgeon for over 20 years. I first met him when I broke my leg and he did surgery complete with pins and screws. Fantastic recovery from that surgery so when I needed a hip replacement I knew I wasn't going anywhere else. My hip surgery went just fine with no complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Drayer to anyone considering joint replacement. Plus, his staff is excellent! When I would call with a random question, they took time to explain their answers. This office is the BEST.

I had a partial left knee replacement in Sept, 2018. It is wonderful. I went from constant pain to no pain. No more bone on bone grinding noise. I can kneel, climb ladders, mow the lawn, chase the grandkids. Anything I want. I sleep well at night too. I occasionally have a little stiffness but some stretching exercises fixes that. The robotic assisted surgery was easy and Dr Drayer fully explained the process. He has open seminars on the surgery to answer questions too. I was off the walker in 6 days, off the cane in 3 weeks. Back to full schedule in 7 weeks. If I ever need the right knee done, I won't hesitate.

I would like to thank not only Doctor Steven Drayer who was the surgeon for my recent total hip replacement but, a great deal of thanks to his entire staff. True, Doctor Drayer did the diagnosis and performed the surgery and he did a magnificent job in all respects. However, his office staff, nurses and all others also need to be complimented for their roles during the entire process. What a wonderful team of professionals that’s available to meet the needs of the patient. Every time I went to the office I was greeted with a friendly hello, every question was professionally answered with great detail and my mind was set at ease about the upcoming surgery, prep requirements and the post-operative requirements. There’s another caveat that I haven’t seen at another surgeons office. Doctor Drayer has an independent physical therapist working within his office complex. What a wonderful idea to have the resources right in-house to complete the healing process.

I went to Dr. Drayer for a partial knee replacement. He gave me several exams to pinpoint exactly what needed to be done. He explained the results to me in words I could understand. The operation went well. Recovery was minimal and I was without pain in less than a month after the procedure. He is a very competent surgeon with great "bedside" manners.

This was an easy, excellent procedure, which was very successful. I am pain free and for awhile every day I was noticing I was better. As I approached the three month time, I noticed nothing awry. Additionally, after the first two weeks, I was walking around with no limp and no cane. I have friends whom I've recommended this procedure and Dr. Drayer will help them. It is important to note that I am in my 80s and I worried a bit about having my knee fixed.

He misdiagnosed me and did not take responsibility for his mistake, instead blaming it on the x-ray. He treated me like I should have been healing faster than I was because of him not realizing I had broken two bones and not one, even though the ER doc caught it in the x-ray. He guessed when he did not know why I was still having bruising and swelling months after I should have been fully recovered to save his own reputation. I spent over 1hr in the waiting room each visit. VERY UNORGANIZED.
