Dr. Steven Eisenstat, DO

Has been my PCP for almost 25 years. His office has moved twice and grown and with that came many new staff and policies, and changes, and it took a while until they worked out those kinks .(Telemed appointments during covid weren't their finest moments)Now I feel they got their rhythm back and patient satisfaction is paramount. Dr Eisenstat through it all remains to be caring, well informed and thorough as well as personable, cheerful, and warm. Dr Kershner his protege is also a great caring doctor and my husband and son have see him for years.

Believe the negative reviews on-line. Waiting 3+ months to make a "New Patient" appointment (not worth the wait!). "Nurse" Vivian, very unfriendly and extremely uneducated. Was unaware of basic Medications. She could use some additional training. When Dr. Eisenstat has a terrible bedside manor, when I called him back to the room to inquire with a few addition questions, he actually snarked at me, and was extremely nasty and condescending. We will take our business elsewhere, and anyone looking for a referral should as well.

Listens and shows genuine interest. Makes recommendations and takes into account your preferences in treatment. Never a reason to feel “white coat syndrome.” Appointment times are met within 10 minutes. Happy to have him as my physician and my husband has decided to be his patient also.

What a great Doctor! I have been a patient for decades and he treats you respect and listens to all your concerns and has never failed me on any issues i have had. That goes for Dr. Kershner as well!

I was a patient of Dr. Eisenstat from 1999 to 2012. Most of my appointments were because of what I considered to be sinus headaches and head colds where I had to ask for medication. In May of 2012 the real cause of my headaches was found to be a large brain tumor which had grown large enough to require emergency surgery. While the surgery was life saving, I felt very let down by Dr. Eisenstat’s failure to require even a simple blood test to look deeper into the cause of my headaches.

Dr. Eisenstat has been my family doctor for the last 22 years. I used to live right down the street from his office but moved twice. Now that I'm an hour away, and because I trust and value his service, I still drive there just to see him and do a physical. The word is out, getting a general appointment with him can take months. Getting a physical would take almost a year (which coincides with the insurance's allowance anyway). If you have an emergency though, he will see you right away.
