Dr. Galutia brushed off every concern I had about my son and his constant ear infections. He would prescribe antibiotics and we would be back within a week after finishing the prescription with the same thing and more (spreading to his eyes etc.) And he would prescribe more antibiotics. This went on for 6 months. I insisted I wanted a referral to an ENT which he denied, stating I could get a second opinion from his nurse practitioner (who works under him). I switched practices and my son's new doctor made the ENT appointment himself. The ear infections were effecting his hearing and speech. He needed tubes put in and he has been just fine since. Over prescribing antibiotics is dangerous, especially in the long term. Dr. Galutia is lazy (never ran any tests and wouldn't even entertain the idea that there was more going on) and chose his ego over my son's wellbeing.

I have had Dr. Galutia since I was a very yong child. I had to stop seeing him because I was no longer a child. But in my 16+ years, he was always very nice and courteous. His office was always clean and every time I came on and I was sick or something else he always took the time to explain medications and conditions. I loved him as a doctor.
