My left knee had arthritic pain and a torn MCL. Dr. Gonsalves fixed my problem. He was caring and very thorough, made me feel comfortable and explained everything about the TKR replacement procedure. Surgery at 1:00 PM and walked out at 7:00PM. It's been three and a half months since my surgery and my knee has been healing great, already back to work on light duty. The office is very nice and professional. I was always seen in 10 minutes or less. I highly recommend Dr. Gonsalves and will return to him when I need to have my other knee replaced! I’ve been trying to get my knees replaced for years and was recommended to Dr Gonsalves as I’m rather large and my other doctor told me that he had a patient. It was a lot bigger than me that Dr Gonsalves had worked on. I’m out with him. reschedule the first one I was at the hospital at 5:30 in the morning and I walked out at 2:30 that afternoon with a walker no Dr. follow ups over the next few days. I’m just checking to see how I was doing some little over five months later we did the second knee no fault of the doctors. We just had a little problem with physical therapy but have it and I can easily walked 12,000 steps. Per day I highly recommend Dr. Steve Gonsalves do you won’t be disappointed.

How lucky I was that Dr Gonsalves was on call when I broke my hip in November. He did a great job on my surgery, but more importantly, at every follow up visit, he gave me his full attention, I was never rushed, and he explained everything clearly so I can understand. He is caring and compassionate, and I would highly recommend him!
