Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Makes bad decisions on care, to arrogant to ask for another opinion before he proceeds with surgeries when he is aware he is in over his head. Deadly decision and knows he can't be touched because he works at UF which is covered under sovereign immunity and they can't be sued.

Dr. Hughes performed the whipple procedure on me with great skill working toward a cure for my pancreatic cancer. He and his team built me up prior to and post surgery. Home after 5 days with follow up chemo. Shans professionals were magnificent throughout my stay. Being 86 years old did not deter their positive attitude. He has given me precious quality time.

Dr Hughes saved my moms life. She needed to have the whipple procedure done due to a mass at the head of her pancreas. She lived in Orlando and drove to Gainesville to see him. It is a very rough surgery, but Dr Hughes did a phenomenal job.

This doctor hid a critical piece of information about my true condition following major surgery he himself did. He and his team knew there was a major issue and that issue they hid almost cost me my life. I was intubated and in a coma for 5 days and went through 2 more major surgeries to save my life and correct his up so sure go to this arromantic clown if your ready to gamble with your life and you should just love the old bat Tracey who is on his service..Good luck if you choose him.
