Did not introduce himself and didn't wear a name tag. Got wrong information from the PA who assessed me and then acted bent out of shape that he'd screwed up. This man seems burned out and just going through the motions. Seems typical of Sentara but not the original MJH. Sad.

Impatient with our elderly mother in the Sentara ER on 1/15/20 who cold not hear him and asked him to speak louder. He became impatient, condescending, arrogant, and never even acknowledged our presence until we asked 2 questions. I suggest the 30 year practicing SUNY grad complete some courses in tolerance for the elderly or move into a different arena

Dr McAlpine delivered exquisite medical care to my daughter in the Martha Jefferson hospital ER. I was so grateful to him for his knowledge and care I wanted to hug him...but I didn't!
