I’m worse off now than before the surgery
I couldn’t straighten out my knee so he recommended surgery to repair my meniscus that was torn. other than that I had no pain using my knee. He was going to fix my meniscus or do a partial removal of my meniscus. After I came out of the anesthetic he told me that he had removed just about all of it. The meniscus is cartilage for your bones preventing bone on bone, also for distributing even weight on your knee joint. By taking away my meniscus I am now open to a knee replacement, which I didn’t need before he saw me. I will be bone on bone, which is worse than it was when I went in to see him. He supposed to be a professional, and I trusted him to live up to his Hippocratic oath which is “do no harm.“ He didn’t even do a follow up appointment afterwards. All he did is schedule me to see his nurse to take the stitches out. I’m very disappointed in the outcome and I wish he would’ve let me know before he removed everything and I would’ve opted out of the surgery.

Wonderful surgeon, great office staff!
After an MRI disclosed a massive tear in my rotator cuff I asked for recommendations for an orthopedic surgeon. A friend as well as a physician pal recommended that I consult with Dr. Mirabello. Immediately put at ease by his friendly and efficient staff, I was seen quickly and felt confident that Dr. Mirabello , a straight shooter, would do his best with a difficult surgery. The surgery center staff was great and I was happy not to go through the hassle of a hospital stay. Now eight weeks post surgery, I am grateful, working hard with PT & well on my way to recovery

Best shoulder surgeon in the US
Dr Mirabello did my total shoulder replacement in 2010. He did an excellent job for me. Saw him yesterday for a routine check up after 12 years and everything is fine.

Incomplete Follow Up
At initial visit Dr. Mirabello diagnosed shoulder tear & ordered MRI. In follow up after MRI he said I didn't need surgery, gave me a cortisone shot and ended visit. He never explained where tear was (rotator cuff or bicep), and didn't give be any stretching or strength exercises. Cortisone did nothing and a month later pain is the same.

Dr. Mirabello has been wonderful the couple visits I have seen him. His PA Nicole is wonderful as well. I am truly grateful for finding this office and being recommended by my neurologist if I remember correctly. I am not to sure but I am so glad I am getting whatever problems address by these wonderful surgeons that are trustworthy. I had carpal tunnel surgery on both wrist by Dr Choi and his PA Joyce she was wonderful as well didn’t need PT at that time. But with my next surgery that Dr. Mirabello and his PA Nicole are going to do on my torn bicep coming up on June 9 I will see how PT office is. Office staff has been wonderful as well. Thank to everyone for everything you all do.

Dr Mirabello and his office staff have always been great. I had a large tear in shoulder rotator cuff and surgery went well. Returned to work light duty in 3 months. Range of motion about 95% at 4 months and strong enough for fairly normal active living. Kayak, paddle board, mechanical work. Do your PT part and you will be happy with results! Beginning to play some volleyball after around 5 months now.

Just want to say thanks. My shoulder was wrecked, and it was a tricky situation that could only be fixed by a person of great experience. The staff are helpful, cordial and abiding with special requests. And the P.A. is knowledgeable and confident. I cannot more highly recommend Dr. Mirabello and his team, they are the top's (but I hope I never need them again)!

Dr. Mirabello is a Miracle Man! Just had my total right shoulder replacement done end May of 2019 and it already feels better than before surgery. Dr Mirabello also did my left total shoulder replacement in December of 2017. He did such a great job on my left shoulder, when the pain got unbearable in my right shoulder without hesitation I scheduled my right shoulder replacement. Dr. Mirabello and his staff are the greatest! Especially Nicole Miller she is awesome makes you feel comfortable talks to you in plain English and listens to you. Don’t be afraid to trust Dr. Mirabello with your surgical needs he is awesome. I’m not a 26 year old sports jock either, I’m 60 years old with the ambition of a 26 year old and Dr. Mirabello gave that back to me. I truly thank you, Jon Wiksten

First visit with dr. Totally unimpressed. Was supposed to have all my reports on my I have rotator cuff tears ( both arms), but he had only one report and MRI. he performed manual test, and I actually screamed out at one point because he pulled so hard on my arm. Never even apologized. Three weeks later still in more pain due to the way he pulled my arm. Was not very informative about my options. It’s amazing how one goes to a dr. For help, and leaves feeling worse than they did prior to visit. Would definitely not recommend him. Too many other competent drs. Out there .

He was the rudest doctor I have ever met. He had complete disdain for my desire to fully understand the presenting issue and course of treatment he was suggesting. He told me I was not smart enough to understand. I have no faith that he would give the quality of treatment to which I am entitled.

I just wanted to thank Dr. Mirabello for the surgery he did on my right shoulder. I had my surgery in April of 2017. I am an ultrasound tech who is dependent on my right arm/shoulder for my livelihood. I am able to have a restful sleep and even though I am not pain free yet due to the nature of my job, my pain is nowhere near how it was before my surgery. We deal with a high volume of patients which causes me to use my arm/shoulder nonstop. His PA Nicole Miller was amazing too. You are the best!

Gave me less than 5 minutes of his time. Extremely arrogant and walked away with no answers, diagnosis nor compassion for pain. Did not even try to evaluate what may be the problem. Try taking a little time for the paying patient next time. Honestly won’t be going back nor would I recommend. So disheartened. Find this a lot in FL

Dr. Mirabello repaired my right rotator cuff in April, 2016. Since surgery I have experienced more pain than before as well as weakness in my arm. I have revisited Dr. Mirabello and he has tried a few therapies that haven't worked. During one visit he became quite angry because I couldn't recall exactly where his assistant had given me an injection three months earlier. During my last visit he said that my symptoms were not surgical, whatever that means. The bottom line is, even though my p

Everybody has been amazing. Carol was amazing helping me with my paperwork for work. Nicole the PA was so sweet and helpful and had so much patience with me. I was so impressed with how my entire surgery went from paperwork before surgery, to the actual surgery to the post op surgery. Dr. Mirabello was awesome. He's done a lot of surgery to family members and now myself and I am so very happy how everything turned out.
