He wasn't even pretending to listen
Came in for pain from a herniated disc and he stared directly into my eyes with a blank look on his face and no body movements the entire time I was talking. The look on his face told me he didn't really care why I was there. No physical exam, no review of imaging, and no further questions asked. Seems disgrunteld when I said I can't fit PT in while taking my mom to chemo 3 times a week. The last ime I was precribed pain medication was on 2018 for a total hip replacement. He treated me like a junky looking for pain medication. I just wanted some relief until I could see the specialist THEIR OFFICE referred me to but could not see me for 3.5 more weeks. I'm transferring to a different NMA as soon as I get this issue taken care of with the specialist. I am 41 years old and will not be treated like this by some no name PCP. Should have just waitied for the specialist, which I am doing anyway since he refused to give me anything to treat my pain. No empathy at all.
