A very nice doctor, knowledgeable and pleasant. He removed a few pieces for biopsy that came back negative. I will repeat with follow up visits

Amazing. He saved my life while preserving my looks. He is a genius and has deep experience. And the best at his trade I have ever (fortunately) encountered. I will always seek him out when I need Mohs again

I went to see Dr. Proper today because I was concerned about an extra flap of skin remaining at the side of my nose resulting from my Mohs / reconstructive surgery. Dr. Proper explained to me that the flap of skin could easily be removed, and he explained to me how that could be accomplished. Dr. Proper was gracious enough to suggest that he should have taken more time to explain that to me at the time of the surgery. It was a good office visit.

I’ve been using this office for over ten years. I’ve had multiple skin cancers, dysplastic nevi diagnosed. I see James Breen mostly, he caught my malignant melanoma. I’ve had over six surgeries here. Dr Proper always looked in on me, following up no matter which surgeon. When it was time for me to have some MOHS surgeries for basal and squamous cell carcinomas on my face Dr Proper did those. I was always informed of what was going on (difficult due to my hearing loss but everyone here works at communication for me.) On one surgery he discussed the beautiful healing I’d done before so he thought he could close with just stitches instead of a graft, my choice. I picked stitches. My healing took longer because my body “spits” stitches so I go into the office and they cut them off as they work their way out but the scar is almost invisible now that it’s healed. Dr Proper also discussed scar gel if I was still concerned. Two more surgeries this year, still alive because of these people.

Went to this doctor for surgery and his hand was tremoring! It seems like a liability to have this condition and be a surgeon! I would recommend going elsewhere.

Dr. Proper is an awesome doctor, HOWEVER, the office staff is very rude, lacks intelligence and can't seem to get it together. My husband underwent care with this office for more than a year and signed authorization for them to speak with me regarding any treatments, tests results, etc. and was done with no problem. Apparently, now this year, they have "misplaced" the authorization and even after having my husband sign another release, they still won't speak with me. When I tried to resolve it, that was an even bigger joke. Left 2 messages for "Jennifer", the "office manager" to return my call and of course, she didn't. Tried e-mailing her and received a "block" notification. I then tried to call her again and my call was screened and then put through to voicemail. I am officially DONE and I am currently in the process of transferring my husband's care elsewhere.

The way he runs his office is chaotic... Plan to be there all day... Had a few small procedures he was okay but very rough... Blew smoke up my butt for 3 months telling me how good and wonderful and experience he was...the day of my big procedure... He changed his mind it was too much for him... I definitely do not recommend him ! there are much much better out there

This office messed up my medication paperwork, refused to correct the situation, and now I am back to square one. I never received my medications, left messages, three times, and never got the courtesy of a return call. Anyone dealing with this practice does so at their own risk. I was treated abhorrently and my condition is worse than ever.

Dr. Proper has been my dermatologist for more than 20 years. He has cared for me and my entire family. He is an exceptional diagnostician, who is able to identify skin and other health issues better than other dermatologists because he is also an internist. His knowledge and skill are obvious in everything he does, and his personal attentiveness and follow through are uncommon in today's health care system. He is, in al respects, a 'doctor's doctor' for all of us.
