Meniscus repair by scope no-no
Surgeries on both knees is still paiful after years. Meniscus are flipping on right knee, I'm unable to walk right or doing stairs. Knees developed weird fat deposits and extremely painful tendons and bumps upon touching them extremely painful. Right knee about 2 inches thicker since. Dr. Ratcliffe may have a 4 decade of orthopedic experience but I'm a proof that things can go wrong. I'm not a fan for knee surgeries with cope at all.

Probably the best surgeon in Seattle. Knee replaced about a year ago 100% recovery. Very up front that pain would be worse then my past hip replacements. It was and don't get off the pain pills it's mort important to restore range of motion to prevent scar tissue from forming. you can talk with him and get realistic answers. My scar is almost invisible he still stiches not staples more important for ladies. Likely did the same good work inside the knee from the outcome. Have sent friends to him a bit of advice loose weight if needed he has a limit of maybe 10 or 20% over weight to help with recovery. I only hope if I need the other knee done he will still be there.

Hands Down BEST surgeon to have HIP REPLACEMENT done by. Dr. Ratcliffe explained everything about the procedure , recovery, and rehabilitation of my HIP. I have never met a surgeon with his level of enthusiasm, knowledge and Bed Side Manner. He really enjoy's his job and he is there all the time , to talk with you about what is next.My hip joint was really bad off , i was petrified to have the surgery, so I had put it off for too long . Dr. Ratcliffe fixed me and I was back at work in 3 weeks
