The friendly attitude by staff, but also very professional!

Everybody was very helpful and answered all my questions. We are very lucky to have these services available here in Globe, AZ.

As I waited for my appointment, I observed others that were also waiting. (The doctor was late due to the ongoing construction on the way up from the valley that was extra bothersome that morning.) It was obvious that the others liked the staff and felt confident in the doctor. As soon as the doctor arrived, it wasn’t long before I was seen. Then the technicians did their jobs and got me set up for future visits. They were very respectful of my personal feelings and comfort as the did their jobs like true professionals. I have no doubt they know what they are doing and and will take very good care of me.

Excellent unbiased (surgery vs. radiation) consultation. Put together a plan for my situation which is panning out just as he described. Blood tests show that I am ahead of schedule and well on my way to being cancer free. Entire staff is great from front office to techs and of course the doctor himself:)!

I had to visit the clinic six days running, twice a day. The staff were warm, friendly and expert at each phase of my treatment. We became a little family over the days. Dr. Sckolnik is at the top of his profession and guided me through a successful treatment with kindness. Highly recommend.

Yea, it was cancer and I needed radiation. Dr. Sckolnik thoroughly explained every step and answered all my questions. He never rushed during any appointment. I was disappointed when he was unavailable for one of my follow ups but the doctor was great. I just wish someone would have told me to expect decrease of energy following the treatments. I feel fortunate to have this team of experts guiding my recovery. They really care and consider you an individual person and understand how the cancer diagnosis effects us.

Dr. Sckolnik and all associated staff were friendly, efficient and comforting. First to last visit at all facilities were timely, smooth, effortless and thorough. Made what could have been a stressful experience easy and stress free.

Dr. Sckolnik was my radiation oncologist during my treatment for breast cancer. He was caring, knowledgeable and I wasn't just a number. More importantly his team is amazing! Joanie, Denise and company make what could have been the worst part of my day for 5 weeks tolerable with their warmth and attentiveness.

Dr Stephen Sckolnik is amazing!!! He is completely dedicated to his job very knowledgeable and quite compassionate! He has been always available when I needed him. I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer with the tumor of 6.4 cm. His prognosis and treatment allowed me now to be cancer free. His staff is wonderful too and always kind and understanding. I had to go through radiation and chemo and he worked extremely well with my oncologist Dr. Tsai. The two of them are and efficient and wonderful team!

Fabulous. Not that anyone wants the diagnosis of Cancer. Dr. Sckolnik is so likable and concerned and also excited about how to approach his area of expertise for you as a patient. He is very communicative about statistics and his own thoughts. He was always available to discuss any issue. The best.

A Cancer Diagnosis is scary, and there are so many doctor's out there. I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr Sckolnik by my surgeon. I would recommend him to everyone without question. He made me feel seen and heard, broke down the process, and treated me with such kindness and respect. You can tell he really cares. When it came to the Brachytherapy, I was terrified to have my catheter removed, like insane anxiety, he tricked me and removed it with NO pain at all. He is just at ease with what he does, which in turn put me at ease. It trickles down through his staff as well. They are all amazing.

Dr. Sckolnik and his staff are excellent! They made my radiation treatments actually quite fun!

Dr. Sckolnik was the lead radiologist on my Medical Care Team treating my cancer... he was clearly knowledgeable and provided a thorough explanation of the remaining marginal cancer cells he observed in my PET scan, taken after surgery had removed a malignant lesion. He also reviewed in detail the radiation treatment I was to expect over 6 weeks of daily (M-F) treatment. His radiation staff treatment was excellent and Dr. Sckolnik personally met with me every Wednesday afternoon and after the last treatment, to review my treatment progress and answer any questions we had. Several months later, after another PET scan, he happily advised that the new scan showed his treatment, along with Dr. Michael Gordon's (Virginia Piper Center) chemo treatment, was successful... and that I was "clear" of the cancerous cells in the area treated! I couldn't have had a more competent Radiologist caring for me, so I highly recommend Dr. Sckolnik and the Arizona Center for Cancer Care!

The professionalism, knowledge, and the willingness to explain the procedure clearly and answer questions were all top notch, as were the respect and kindness shown to the patient. I would definitely go back to Dr. Sckolnik if I needed radiation treatments again for any reason, and would certainly recommend this practice to others.
