Honestly I don't he wanted to listen to what I had to say what was all going on. He only ask d what meds I've used and tried. Didn't even bother to see what all is going on or anything. If he truly cares about all everyone he treats then he would sit and listen to everyone and take the time to figure out what's going on instead. Also he is taking his sweet time to get meds filled after weeks of waiting to get them to do what he wanted me to as well. Like really you wanted me to follow up with you in a week and I couldn't because you didn't approve my meds you wanted me to take. It's been almost 3 weeks now and still no meds.

I've suffered for years under his care with a whole range of diagnosis, misc. treatments including a number of diets. I was replaced with another doc after Seagren left and was immediately referred to specialist in Denver. I'm going in next month for surgery on several finding. Don't even take your dog to him.

Did a 5 day prep for a colonoscopy. Yes 5 days. On day of scope told him I most likely was still not prepped and asked him to confirm via sonogram or something that scope could be done. Nope. He did the scope anyway and could only see 40% of the colon. Was charged full amount, of course ;). To make the whole thing more aggravating, he did not know who I was despite 4 visits in 6 mos. and 8 years as a patient. Hey Dr. S., read the patuent's file before you see him!

Saw him for ten years and then ran from his practice, which got too large, totally impersonal. The PA/gatekeeper put me on pancreatic enzymes for radiation enteritis. Did not work, lost 10lbs and am already thin! Then, with no endoscope/testing, prescribed Xifaxin. Lost more weight. End result: am down 20lbs, No involvement by Dr. Seagren until colonoscopy. Despite seeing him for a decade, he did not know who I was and did not take time to look at my file before speaking to me prior to scope.

It is very difficult to understand what led to the other very negative review. Sort of sounds like we are missing part of the story. That certainly was not at all our (spouse too) experiences. Both of us found Dr. Seagren very pleasant and effective. Each of us have had both colonoscopies and endoscopies, and been treated for different gastro ailments. In no case did we have dissatisfaction with any phase of the examination or treatment. Wish I could find an equal on the Front Range now.

Endured 15 years after Seagren refused me treatment for sick liver. Now waited 10 1/2 months for an appointment and went for 7 months but never met Seagren. Worked with uncaring physician assistant Jon Allison who has no ability to relate to patients. I begged for life saving cure for liver. Now I am walking dead. Forced to wait for four months until he decided to start me. Horrid experience with no support. Then he cuts me half way through my treatment! No discussion or reason. No one cared.
