He’s a great doctor. He is patient, knowledgeable and very kind. He takes his time and is attentive when speaking with me. The best doctor I’ve had in many years.

Finally found a doctor who listens, who responds, who is proactive, and seems genuinely concerned with my quality of life.

Dr Schectman has a great bedside manner and takes the time with you. He listened to my concerns answered all my questions without rushing. If you are looking for a primary doctor you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend!

YOU CANNOT GET ANYONE TO ANSWER THE PHONE ONCE YOU BECOME A PATIENT AND IF THEY DO...THEY TELL YOU TO PUT A REQUEST IN THE PORTAL OR PUT YOU ON AN ENDLESS HOLD UNTIL YOU HANG UP!!! IT IS RIDICULOUS. THEY ARE THE LAZIEST STAFF THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! I AM DONE WITH THEM. GETTING MY RECORDS AND GOING ELSEWHERE.

Had an appointment using their app and the office had my info, but no appointment on file. Instead of an apology and an effort to fix the problem, I was told I should have called for the appointment. I just feel it is odd to blame new client for using their online appointment setter.

Dr. Schectman put me on a very strong medication and "Guaranteed me that it will work" (His exact words), I went on this med for a week and had a horrible reaction. I called him Monday. Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday and left him URGENT messages. I was unsure if I can stop this med cold turkey. Its been 10 days with no response..

Lack of follow up with lab/test results. Would rather just give you names of referrals rather than deal with you. Very poor bedside manner.

Their answer to poor care and poor customer service is to dump the patient if he or she complains of how badly they were treated. Instead of correcting their faults and shortcomings they find it easier to just delete the patient.

Dr Schechtman is a natural and suited well for his profession. He was truly given the gift of kindness and patience. Thank you for caring for my mother and making her feel so comfortable today. Kudos to your awesome staff as they were very professional when I called and were so pleasant when we arrived to your office. Haven’t seen a doctor this caring in ages.

Very aggressive, thought he knew it all, icy bedside manner, totally rude.

I truly could not have asked for a better experience with Dr. Shechtman and his staff! After trying multiple times to schedule a new patient exam with other PCP's in the area and having no success, I was very pleased to be able to get in with Dr. Shechtman in less than a week. Their online registration was incredibly simple and efficient. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment and was checked in by a kind lady with short, brown hair whose name I unfortunately forgot. Within a few minutes, Destiny called me into the exam room and was incredibly personable and took time to listen to my concerns. I did not wait long until Dr. Shechtman visited me and exceeded my expectations with his bedside manner, professionalism, and knowledge. He was patient with me when answering my questions and very easy to speak to. I certainly felt as though I was receiving quality care! He explained his recommendations and helped me make wise decisions about my health and necessary testing. Thank you!

very bad visit ,,,would not listen to why i was there .Asked many questions the whole visit that had nothing to do with my current concerns ..over charged my insurance ....when my medical concerns were not addressed he said in a letter to me that i was disrspectfull because i made a complaint about my waisted time ... i paid someone 50 dollars to drive me there being disabled and not being able to drive at this time ,,,,another 50 paid to my helper to take me to another doctor visit with another group a few weeks later .. i hope to see a check in the mail for what he over charged my insurance and for the 100 it cost me ......

He was my doctor for a couple of years. New patients will not be disappointed. Great doctor, great service and all around great guy.

The most caring, thorough and attentive MD we have ever had as our primary doctor

Dr. Shechtman provided the highest quality medical care for my wife and me for two years. Unfortunately he recently joined another group not located in Sarasota. He is a competent, caring physician who always took the time to address our concerns and answer any questions we had about our healthcare. If you need the services of a primary care doctor, you'll be hard pressed to find a better one than this caring, compassionate physician.
