This doctor has an ego problem to the point of he tells you he does what he wants. I literally told him I did not want a certain surgery he insisted on as he had already done two procedures that were unsuccessful. I injured my left arm. He is fixated on my bicep, refuses to look at any other part of my arm, even though I was sent to a year and a half of grueling therapy, nerve induction, scans x-rays. I literally had to bring in the entire staff in the preop room to make sure he did not perform a procedure I refused repeatedly and he had scheduled anyway. This doctor lets you suffer then cuts you loose and sends you to pain management. This doctor does not listen to his patients and wanted this particular invasive surgery that required many future surgeries afterwards not because it helped the patient recover, but because it was profitable to him. He plays a game with people’s lives. He cost me my job, my quality of life and gave me a 1% disability rating for refusing a procedure.

I have known Dr. Silberfarb about 6 years. I have a very bad back, dr. Silberfarb has done 6 different procedures on me.All with positive results I have been to a lot of doctors ,by far he is not only the most professional doctor i have been to he cares about his patience. He explains everything in details, he is very kind and thoughtful. Before he has ever done any procedures, he will take as much time as it takes so that I understand everything that is going to happen You can tell he takes pride in his work and he is always looking the best results. His office staff is wonderful , from Doreen to Mindy the office manager and Christina, they have always been kind and helpful. A Friend of mine went to see Dr. Silberfarb, they were blown away how knowledgeable he was and that he was such a patient and kind human being. I would not let any other Orthopedic Doctor see me.

What a wonderful office to go to. I was fearful of seeing a surgeon and from the moment they answered the phone to my initial consultation with the Dr. I was put at ease. He takes the time to listen. Not may docs do that anymore.

My husband's surgery went so well! Dr. Silverfarb was so personal and answered our questions very patiently. My husband needed no pain medications at all and he has major surgery. I definitely recommend him.

I work in PT and all I can say is.....RUN! Do not let this doctor touch you. His ego is bigger than his office and at the end of the day it's all about him! He ruined my mothers ankle and even left debris, which resulted in a 2nd surgery. His bedside manner is nice in the beginning cause he sucks you in believing he's a good doctor, but in reality you can graduate from Medical School with all C's! We have AMAZING Orthopedic doctors in South Florida, but Dr. Silberfarb is NOT one of them!!!

His estimate of the time period for the surgery ie 4hours ,when we sat waiting in the hospital waitingroom, expired,we started to get uncomfortable,At the expiry of 5th hour still no word, the panic was about start , a nurse sent by the angel Dr Silverfarb broke the news that the surgery was proceeding satisfactorily and that it might take another hour.We heaved seigh of relief. My respect for the doctor overcomes whenever I recall this act of consideration on the part of this son of his mother.

Saw him after I hurt my back in a car accident. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about my particular issue. Wait time in the office was a little long but not bad and I'd rather have that then a surgeon with an empty office. I would absolutely recommend him.
