Dr. Simper helped me change my life!
Dr. Simper performed my Gastric Bypass on March 4, 2022. My diabetes is now in remission, and I have been taken off of 5 prescription medications. I am down 70 pounds in 7 months. He definitely helped to change my life for the better! He is very knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions completely. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for weight loss surgery!

EXTREMELY knowledgeable.. He is one of the best surgeons in UTAH. During surgery in 2004 an unexpected life threatening problem was found and he was he was able to take care of it. A few more hours of surgery, but it saved my life. I am about to have more surgery for a different matter. My Gastroenterologist recommended 2 docs in Utah that he thought were skilled enough to do this procedure..I chose my doc and come to find out, he is an expert in my current medical situation. He's The Best!

Catastrophic errors, breaking patient confidentiality. You have chosen the right DR. These are a few things you will hear from others that have or experienced as well. Go to the ER that's the only way to see me, Your fine take a Tylenol, drink more protein .Not to mention his favorite doctor's that he prefer only to assist W/H. So you may be waiting many days. Confidentiality show me my history scans etc.; But to compare my history to another patients information in excusable !!

I wish I could give zero stars. This guy is a total hack. After my surgery, my stomach was severely distended. I went back to him to find out why and he said nothing was wrong. It took me a long time, but I finally found a doctor that specializes in abdominal hernias, which I had two from what Dr. Simper did. I found out that he left my abdomin open. I had to go through a 4 1/2 hour surgery to repair what Simper had messed up. I had been open from my sternum to my pubic bone. STAY AWAY!
