Shouldn’t be practicing medicine
Dr. Wolpert was my PCP for about 2 years, the only reason I stayed that long was merely frustration and exhaustion with trying to find competent medical care. During my very first appointment, Dr. Wolpert was incapable of listening effectively, had an extremely pretentious attitude, engaged in medical gaslighting, and falsely altered charting notes regarding the visit. He tried to convince me that (what turned out to be) my moderate to severe asthma was just “anxiety,” and wrote in my chart that I had agreed with that assessment. In reality, I had been repeatedly adamant that it was NOT anxiety that was making me struggle to breathe and gasp for air while simply walking around my home. Throughout the time I spent under his care, he would display these kinds of behaviors routinely, even flat out refusing to prescribe an extremely common acid reflux medication because he “wasn’t familiar with it.” I didn’t realize doctors stopped learning after medical school.

If you Value your Health FIND SOMEONE ELSE
After I suffered for weeks waiting he is 40 min late to our appointment then rushes to get to his next one in 5 min making Many mistakes. Prescribing the wrong medication then jokes about it without correcting the issue. Then disappears for 10 days and staff is NO help. Not sure where he got his degree but he has to Google drug and medical info right in front of me. I could do that myself. MY health is not a joking matter and after several mistakes I said are you a 'bunch of dummies'. then he sent me a threatening letter but the continued incompetence showed even in the letter as several errors were made again. This Dr and the entire staff in his office are a joke.

Horrible, rushes trough appointments, does not want to give medications that will actually help you, he treats you like a drug addict, and he did not want to talk about any possible interactions with medications. When asked about a referral, he did not want to refer me, he told me to call the back of my insurance card.

Dr. Wolpert is so pretentious. What terrible bedside manor. He also barely did anything to figure out what was wrong with me. Do yourself a favor a literally find anyone else as a primary.

Met Dr. Wolpert for the first time today. Like his manner and polite, direct attitude to my questions and problem. Talked to me as a knowledgeable person and accepted my insight to my own health issues. He made me part of his team in being responsible, to help get the answer to some of my concerns. Like him very much, I think I have found my new PCP!
