Dr. Steven Zierer, MD

Dr. Zierer is excellent. He is able to endoscopy and colonoscopy in one visit. I do not like the fact that the front office charges you up front, yet cannot give you a detailed receipt for 8 to 10 days.

I've been to see Dr. Zierer several times, for colonscopy, endoscopy and large hiatal hernia. While I appreciate his expertise and positivity, it would be nice if he communicated more about relevent conditions, what to watch for and sign of trouble, dietary suggestions, etc. He was not forthcoming with options for dealing with a large hiatal hernia and seemed to be unconcerned even though I find it uncomfortable - he had given me a script long ago, but did not provide options for the bleeding it causes and what the future might look like.

Dr Zierer has been my very much trusted GI specialist for over 10 years now. I say this being a skeptical person, having been born and spent most of my life in Boston where field of medine/doctors are very much top notch in comparison to what I have found here. I'm not in the greatest of health so it's been frustrating finding good care but I liked and totally trusted Dr Zierer from my first appt with him. He's competent, knowledgeable, experienced and has a great bedside manner so you can speak to him freely. He's also almost always accessible through his medical assistant if I ever call with issues and I get a return call quickly. I'm definitely made to feel like myself and my care matter a lot! I would recommend him to any family or friends in need.

Had gone in and had my first colonoscopy at age 46 because of my dad's side of family history with colon cancer. I had 1 pulip that was almost too small to remove but he took the initiative to remove it anyways and have it tested. Well it came back as cancer and ended up going to oncologist to remove a section of my colon. I'm 100% cancer free because Dr. Zeirer. If he had shrugged his shoulder at my 1 spot and called it good I would have been advised to not check again for another 5 years and would have ended up with stage 4 cancer like my dad and possibly not be here today writing this review. Thank you Dr Zierer. I owe you a fishing trip lol

Dr. Zierer is professional and communicates effectively with patients. Staff is competent and friendly.

My regular doctor at clinic was booked. Dr Zierer was free, and he provided excellent care as well as follow up.

I have been a patient of Dr Zierer for many years. During this time I have found him to be compassionate and caring. He has included me in the plan of care and respects my opinion. He is a good listener with a great sense of humor.

Every person I encountered, from pre-procedure visit all the way thru post-op we’re amazingly friendly and accommodating when needed. I would recommend this team to anyone!

Dr. Zierer is a thorough-going doctor when so much of the physician culture ignores patient problems. I highly recommend him, and his office staff is courteous.

I have had both a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy performed by Dr. Zierer. Both procedures went well and I have no complaints. On my last follow-up yearly visit (required) to get annual Rx he was almost an hour late for my scheduled appointment time. It would be very nice if someone in the office could let patients know if a Dr is running late and how long. First off I disagree with having to have an annual visit just to get Rx renewed and when making an early morning appointment there should be no way they should be running one hour late. An informed patient is a HAPPY patient..... Please don't become like the airlines and just leave people hanging. My time is just as valuable as the Doctors

My experience with Dr Zierer was all positive. I trust him completely and feel thAt he is very competent.

Consulted wth Dr Z regarding a concern I had. He was very thorough with his questions and easy to talk to.

Very kind, he pays attention to what you say, he asks questions to be as thorough as possible. Very comfortable to talk to.

I was really nervous and Dr Zierer made me feel calmer and very comfortable. Everything went very smoothly. Everyone in the office and the endoscopy suite was friendly and made it the best experience it could be.

Office staff are efficient and personable. Dr. Z is a very caring and compassionate person. He listens to concerns and addresses all questions. He has a wonderful personality which I really enjoy!! Highly recommend!!

I’ve left many reviews for Dr. Zierer. Over 10 years ago he saved my life. More recently my esophagus shrunk. He has done a few endoscopies and has helped me to be able to eat.

I had a colonoscopy performed by Dr. Zierer and he did a wonderful job. He explained what he would be doing and he also explained the results in detail. I am scheduled for a follow up in 3 years and I can't recommend his expertise enough.
