I am alive today due to treatment and procedures I have received from Dr. Chalfin over the years. Shocked and saddened to hear of his impending retirement. He deserves the retirement but I also will miss his caring and treatment I have received over the years. Thank you for everything Dr Chalfin. You will be sorely missed.

Dr Chalfin has taken care of 3 members of my family over the years. Excellent care. He will be doing Pelvic Reconstution surgery on me soon. I will post a review after. I want to add, Dr Chalfin is an excellent communicator and listener A+.

Dr. Chalfin is one of the kindest, most thorough doctors practicing medicine. He identified and corrected a rare bladder birth defect that another urologist wrongfully wrote off as "nothing." He listened intently to my questions and concerns. Every visit he asks me how I'm doing-- sadly such a rare thing to be asked in a doctor's office anymore. His office staff are wonderful as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Chalfin to anyone I know who needs urological care.

Dr. Chalfin is a good doctor and is thorough but his nurse and receptionist need to go to school for empathy and manners . They are very rude and do not know what the words kind and patience mean . When you are dealing with sick people or people that just found out they have cancer or their loved one is sick and trying to see the doctor , they really need to have patience and understanding and definitely empathy!! They have none of that! I feel sad when I hear them talk to patients the way .

I continue to visit Dr. Chalfin on a cash basis since he does not use medi-cal patients why? Because I trust him he is the finest urologist I know. Doctor Chalfin is always busy that says a lot in my eyes. He came to me very highly recommended by my girl friend and her mother back in 2006. I have been with him ever since. He and his staff are the best at what they do I can think of 2 occasions when I had to get in to see him in a hurry his staff managed to squeeze me in for an appointment...
