I have been seeing Dr. Kaplan since 2010 and I must say I am very satisfied with my visits and treatments. He is very compassionate, very consistent in his treatment, very polite and pleasant. I never have to wait long pass the time of my appointment to see him.

It is an easy visit. The people are pleasant, helpful and kind. The wait is never more than a few minutes, so far the results are great so I have no problem recommending Dr. Kaplan and the practice.

Please avoid this practice at all costs!!! They are a scam!! First of all, the doctor insists you come back for a second visit to be given blood test results. Obviously, this is their procedure so they can charge another copay. We had to take my 80 year old mother all the way back there to be told everything was normal! After we were charged the regular specialist copays in the office, we received a bill for an additional copay amount for each visit. The insurance card clearly states the rates, so we called the billing department to resolve the issue. The very unpleasant woman who answered the phone in billing started yelling for "threatening her", when all I said was if she couldn't adjust this fee, I would be forced to alert the public of this underhanded scheme on social media. I was stunned by her unprofessional behavior, especially since I didn't say it in any threatening way whatsoever. Bottom line, I would never go back to this office and would strongly suggest you think

I went to the doctor the first time - he gave me pills and I said they make me dizzy which I am already anyway. So then he gave me another pills which was a lot stronger and I ended up never taking it - because after I read the side affects and the withdrawal systems they were way over the roof. I refused to take them. I asked for something else he said there isn’t anything else. And totally gave up on me. He is a good doctor - but he isn’t so fair or even cares about the patient.

Dr. Kaplan is fine- seems to know his business and listens well; however, the office of Rheumatology in Hewlett is most incompetent. Using the excuse of having a new computer system for the last SIX weeks, the office staff slams callers on hold for thirty minutes and longer ( I hung up 3 times after 30 mins). Then my appointment was never actually booked so that when I arranged for time off work, I was told I did not have an appointment! Fortunately, one staff member took pity and had me seen.
