As a College Professor for thirty years, I had rule about writing recommendations: If I couldn't write a favorable one, a rave, I'd suggest the student search out someone who could. Which is another way of saying I'm not writing this rave because I have to, but because I want to. The first rule of the doctor/client relationship is simple: One has to trust the doctor. I trusted Dr. Weisman within seconds. He knows who he is talking to and how to tell the given client what they need to hear. He has operated on both my eyes and will do so again. My only complaint is that his practice is limited to the eyes: I have an excellent GP but I searched her out only because Dr. Weisman is limited to the eyes. Consider this letter a rave. I have been a patient of Dr. Weisman for over 30 years! He is knowledgeable, has great bedside manners! When I first saw Dr. Weisman, it was after being dissatisfied with another doctor. I didn't trust the eye doctors diagnosis that at a young age I needed bifocals,I had never worn glasses. When I told Dr. Weisman, he laughed and was in disbelief that I didn't need glasses. After he examined my eyes he informed me that I had 20/20! I laughed, and appreciated the honesty!
