Dr. Patel's staff very kind to deal with. He did not give me a genuine attitude of care. I am allergic to erythromycin yet that is what he prescribed. I used it three days and suffered an allergic reaction. I called the office asking for advice. I did not receive a call in return. Selected frames and the technician said she would have someone else look at the work she had completed. Some would call me. Sorry to say I did not find the call on my message recorder. I feel it is best to find another physician either in your group or another group. Thank you for me explain why I would recommend Dr. Patel.

Dr. Patel has been my doctor for over five years. An excellent, through, doctor. Explains in layman’s terms what he’s seeing and what that means with respect to your eyesight. Dr. Patel gives you excellent options and time lines on what and when a procedure needs to be done.

He was helpful and nice, but half of his staff (the receiptionist who took my payment, and others who answered the phone) were rude uncommunicative, didn't listen, and were not helpful. I would never return because of them, not him.

The exam was OK as I expected. However, when I asked for a written Rx I was told it would cost an additional $55.00!!. Never happened to me before. I'm new to GA and I hope this isn't the norm.

I've been seeing Dr. Patel for several years now, so I wouldn't consider any other eye doctor even if you paid me! He is very thorough in his exams, easily explains medical terminology in layman's terms so you totally understand your treatment, is very friendly, and is just a super doctor in general. I feel confident in recommending Dr. Patel to anyone, and also would recommend Thomas Eye Group for any and all of your eye-care needs.
