Dr. Sumalatha Patibandla, MD

Dr. Patibandla is very dedicated to research every available information possible.Several test were run and other doctors were added for consideration.I was kept mostly informed of the test results and any added medication needed.The last PET scan was preformed but never any discussion of results. I assumed there was nothing wrong. After last blood test, I was released.

Dr Patibandla is an excellent doctor. She took over my care when Dr Birdwell retired and has done a wonderful job.Dr Pat is very concerned with all aspects of my care and is also very up to date on possible treatments for me. She is very caring and dedicated to all of her patients.I have been dealing with and fighting breast cancer since 2009. I work diligently to be up to date on my care, options for my treatment and am an almost aggressive advocate for myself. I would definitely recommend Dr Patibandla to anyone facing cancer treatment.

Dr Pat is one of my favorite doctors. She is kind, professional, and remembers dates about my health care services and even my prescriptions. How she remembers things about me with all the patients she has is remarkable. She is very astute and a lovely person to know.

I have hemochromatosis. Dr Pati has managed me for over 10 years. She is thorough and diligent in making sure all my major organs are good and my iron stays under control. She is so caring and I love her bedside manor! She's stuck with me!

I could go on and on about Dr. Patty. She was always so nice and caring. She took her time each appointment and she really help me through a scary time in my life. I was diagnosed with a blood clot when I was pregnant and she advocated for me for my medication with the insurance company and always look out for best interest. She has a very calming demeanor. You won’t be wrong with choosing her.

I was fortunate to be referred to her when I was referred to Texas Oncology.

Dr Patibandla is extremely caring and takes time with you in every appointment. I have never felt rushed through my appointments and have felt she gives her patients individual care which is rare with a lot of doctors. I highly recommend her to everyone needing an Oncologist!

Dr.Pati made us feel that our dtr was her only patient. She was through and caring each step of the way during the treatment journey.
