The appointment was on time. Dr Patel was very aware of my background. Even though its been eight years. He answered every question and he's very patient. I can honestly recommend him.

I was waiting for my 1st appointment with Dr. Patel for almost two month while struggling with my abdomen conditions. However, he has expressed unwillingness to have me as a patient in retaliation for my disagreement to accept invasive and risk involved procedure as a first line testing for my lower abdomen problems. He also started downplaying follow up diagnostics of my existent upper abdomen problems by relaying on 5 years old test results, and ignoring some of its discoveries. His verbal communication was border line with rude at the times. And he stayed fixated at one item, and unwilling to listen. More than once I had to re-focus him, and remind that gastroenterology has variety of tools to use before or instead of just sticking the scope into patient’s rectum. Avoid!!!

I was referred to Dr. Patel for problems I was having with gastric upset and a decreasing ability to swallow. He did a complete history and exam and thoroughly discussed testing and possible treatments. He was very professional, compassionate and kind and put me at ease. After we talked I was scheduled for an endoscopy which I will be having soon. His office was immaculate and his staff was professional and friendly. The wait time was very short and at the end of my visit the endoscopy was scheduled before I left. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Patel for anyone needing help with gastro issues.

I appreciated that Dr. Patel listened and took note of all of my concerns and answered any questions I had during the first meeting. He also was attentive at giving me a following-up call before my procedure, as it turned out I also needed an endoscopy. During and after the procedure, I appreciated the communication and explanations I received from him, and I feel that he and his staff were very caring and straightforward.

I had a Colonoscopy last week. My mother died of colon cancer reason why I had to do this after five years. I was a little nervous. I calmed down quickly when Dr. Patel Came to check on me before and after the surgery which went smoothly and answered all the questions. My husband picked me up as scheduled. No problems at all and of any kind. I Highly recommend him.
