Gaslight me
Saw him for a standard colonoscopy, and when he asked me if I had polyps in my previous one, I said you could look it up and see because I thought I did but I didn’t remember, since it was five years ago. He then told me that I had never been to the facility. I told him that I had and I remembered the year and the facility. He flat out told me that I was wrong and then I must be mistaken, and he told me this three minutes before my procedure, which was upsetting. I knew he was wrong. When I was recovering at home, I looked it up and indeed, I had been there exactly when I thought I had and it was in my health record with my primary care physician. Dude needs to add a little humility and grace to his practice. Maybe listen to his patients.

Recently saw Dr. Sheth for the first time and felt that he was very dismissive and not open to anything I was saying. I had an extreme side effect from medication he prescribed me and left him a voicemail about it and never heard back.

Second time around for my colonoscopy, every five years and Dr Sheth, continues to be VERY attentive and professional. His staff is also a positive, with being VERY careful and thoughtful, and most important putting my concerns first. Once again THANK YOU DR. SHETH for the GOOD news following my procedure... Great Doctor! I have been a patient of Dr. Sheth for close to 20 years and feel fortunate to be in his care. He is always very helpful and takes the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Sheth is a true professional who cares about his patients. Setting up appointments is easy and I am never kept waiting when I arrive for an appointment. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Sheth to my family and friends

I have been seeing Dr. Sheth for about 2 years now. One of the things that I really appreciate about Dr. Sheth is that if I have an issue, he will call me back usually within a few hours. After years of seeing other Dr.s, Dr. Sheth was the one that finally diagnosed my condition and I now hope that I am on the road to recovery/remission. I would highly recommend Dr. Sheth!

I met Dr Sheth in the summer of 2008, when I had become very ill and my PCP said he was highly recommended in Gastroenterology at BIDMC. He began treating me in the hospital and was very encouraging that I would be able to live with the ulcerated colitis and eat real food again. He suggested that I join the CCFA, a national organization that would help me learn about my condition. and it was extremely helpful. There have been a few set backs over the years, but Dr Sheth has treated them.

I'm a patient of Dr Sheth. I have been experiencing many issues with my digestive system related to IBD. Dr Sheth is vary caring and takes time to listen to my concerns. Someone always returns my calls whether it's Dr Sheth himself or one of his assistants. I am very pleased with his care and I highly recommend him.

Worst experience of my life. Had a colonoscopy scheduled on 8/4 Dr Sheth had it changed to 7/14 in Wellesley instead of Boston. Never called me to tell me I guess that I need a crystal ball. When I did find out they tried to say that I changed it. Now they keep calling me to discuss this matter. Don't use this Dr.!!

Dr Sheth not only misdiagnosed me with celiac disease, he also failed to tell me that there were abnormalities on my endoscopy that indicated that I had gastroparesis. I went onto the gluten free diet on his recommendation, and consequently suffered intense pain due to undiagnosed gastroparesis (gluten-free diet is contraindicated for gastroparesis). This guy is completely incompetent, careless and negligent.

Dr. Sheth has been my gastroenterologist for over 12 years. He has seen me through the ups and downs of Crohn's disease and through it all has always had my best interest for medical success at heart. He has helped me navigate a very complex case that has had an impact on many other areas of my health and well being. I have recommended him to many friends who have friends and family who need to see a specialist and have complete faith he will take just as good care of them.
