Excellent Doctor! but way overbooked.
My appointment was at 12:45. I really was in a hurry to get there on time when I got to the door it was locked. There were other people out in the hall. They locked the doors between 12 PM and 1 PM for their one hour lunch hour. When I finally got in there at one I asked why would you schedule me at 12:45 and you lock the door she didn’t really have an explanation they put me right back in a room, but I did not see the doctor until 1:30 PM, I get they’re busy but they’re way over booking patients

Great doctor, board certified
Dr Pandita has been my pulmonologist for years. He always has time to answer my questions and has the nicest nurses. He has a calming bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. He also performed my lung lavage. He came highly recommended by another doctor.

Awful. From the rude and incompetent staff. To being told I would be seen 6 months later for PST testing.. I called on a Tuesday to say I needed help as my 02 levels were sinking. No reply. I called on Weds. to say the same. Receptionist said she did not know when He will have the time to return my call. i needed his MA to call. I landed at St. Mark's Hospital with an acute COPD Exacerbation. $5.00 worth of an Action Plan will cost me a few G's. I will not being going back. Or recommending this outfit.

I had to complete a Second Sleep Study during a Pandemic putting my health at risk, being 66 years old and immune compromised because he said I need a different type of CPAP. He knew this beforehand, but Never told me at the time because he says my insurance wouldn't pay for the other one. They Cancelled my first appointment for it and it was difficult trying to get it rescheduled. During this second sleep study the Technician told me he was "Tired of Being careful" about the coronavirus, telling me about his Recent travels out of the country. Needless to say, I didn't sleep very well that night. Then, tried to call to get my appointment as a Televisit. Had to leave a message. No return call. Called again at my appointment time, sat on Hold 10 minutes, Then had to leave a message. Still No return call as of the Next Day. This is not unusual for Granger Medical.

Dr. Pandita was not helpful. He ignored that I have had serious Crohn's disease problems for the last 12 years. He just kept throwing inhalers at me, and when he ran out of options he said he would call me after consulting with other doctors... He never called. Months later, one visit to University Hospital they told me I had Popcorn Lung and will soon do a biopsy to figure out if it is related to my CROHN'S medication, or my CROHN'S disease. They will work with my GI doctor to get this sorted.

I went to Dr Pandita by referral from my family doc due to breathing trouble. He did some tests and found nothing. His advice was for me to lose weight and do a sleep study (part of his practice). I did a sleep study and he found nothing so he wanted further sleep studies (which were denied by my insurance as not necessary). 4 months later I discovered accidentally I had a grapefruit-size tumor in one lung that was malignant when I was having a kidney CT). Great doc, eh? I do NOT recommend!
