Dr. Sunwook Kim Ashchi, MD

I went in because I was having issues with fibroids. She did ultrasound told me she call me to discuss and NEVER reached out to me. I called to make follow up appointment to discuss and her assistant made me feel stupid. So I just NEVER went back. Still having fibroid issues.

The Doctor KIM-ASHCHI is a wonderful and professional doctor. She is very kind and patient. Explain everything and take time to listen.

I have a very serious autoimmune disease. The doctor listened to me and discovered something I needed to know. I believe she can help me have a better quality of life. I am a new patient. She might of saved my life. She is also a teaching doctor. Very impressive. I trust her.

At my 1st visit, I was a new patient. I was in and out of there in no time. The wait time was short and the visit was informational. Dr. Kim Ashchi has great bedside manner and quite a sense of humor. She ordered a few tests which I did and then made an appointment for a follow up visit. Now mind you the test results are available online which I was able to view but since she made a follow up appointment I figured she needed to see me for something. At my 2nd visit, my wait time in the lobby was over an hour and then I waited in the room for just as long. When she came in she basically went over the same test results that were available online. The appointment lasted a couple minutes. At checkout, the nice checkout lady, Kim said it was $144.24 for the visit. I asked why that was. She said that that's how the doctor coded the visit. I asked her to check with the doctor and she did and the doctor said that I am paying for her time but what about MY time?!. Is that not worth anything?!

I seen her once. The open introduction was awesome. My follow up visits was canceled 35 minutes before my scheduled time. This has happened 2x's. Very inconsiderate of the practice. Each time the follow up appointment was pushed out 2 weeks later. Right now i do not wish to carry on continued care.

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Ashchi it was very detailed but straight to the point. I will be referring family members to her as well.

I cannot speak for the care you would receive at this clinic since my appointment was canceled out from under me, but the customer service is awful.

Sonny is a terrible person and a complete failure as a doctor, which is why she couldn't keep a private practice open and had to go on staff at Memorial. Long story short, I suffered greatly for years and then ultimately had to have a total hysterectomy by a qualified doctor (NOT sonny) at the age of 38 because of her gross incompetence. RUN FAR AWAY from this horrible person.

I lost track of Dr. Sonnie Kim Ashchi, I found her at Memorial Hospital and I will call por an appoitment. Great Doctor. I have been under her care for more than 19 years.

I have been with Dr. KimAshchi for 17 years. I highly recommend her and always will. She is awesome and always listens. She really cares. Makes you feel like family. She delivered my 2nd child (we did not live here for the 1st) and I have had surgery with her too. I highly trust her.

I absolutely love Dr. Kim-Aschi and her ARNP’s. I’ve been going to her for ten years now, she delivered two of my babies (both c-sections). They also helped me through a miscarriage. I’m high risk and they’ve always treated me with kindness, professionalism and acted with the upmost knowledge. The staff in the front office is always a tad on the rude side. But the back staff is super sweet and helpful. They always greet me by name. I’ve never seen any issues with cleanliness.

I've been seeing the ARNP/midwife there for about 5 years now. I feel as though i'm going to see family when i see her. She's always genuinely concerned with my health, family & work. She works diligently to give the care that i need. And though they recently moved out of my network, i will continue to go because finding a gynecologist you can trust can be hard.

It's hard to find a doctor that cares and listen to you. Kim is extremely knowledgeable of her field, had surgery yesterday she goes above and beyond to make sure you are pain free and as comfortable as can be she called me the day after to make sure I was okay, I would highly recommend her, she one in million.

I was in excruciating pain and violently ill monthly, and saw this person for a year and did everything she asked. She provided no relief, no diagnosis, and when I told her I needed more than what she was doing for me (which was nothing) because of how bad the pain was, she laughed in my face, said I was exaggerating, and accused me of wanting pills (which I had never asked her for). Went to another doc and had hysterectomy in 2 weeks and discovered endometriosis in my entire abdomen. STAY AWAY.

I really like Dr. Kim-Aschi. I just wish that she hadn’t gone with St. Vincent’s. Went in for a yearly appointment which is covered by my insurance but ended up getting charged because we discussed other matters of concern - got a bill for 2 visits.

I went as a new patient with a concern that something was wrong. I ended up having to have a biopsy. She and her nurse were very kind and compassionate. The procedure was anything but pleasant but they were wonderful. I have to go back one more time and I can honestly say I am not dreading it like I used to dread going to the Gyn. I would recommend her to anyone. Love her! The office staff is kind and gracious.

I wouldn’t love for Dr. Kimashchi to deliver any children I have in the future. Having a c section was very nerve racking as first time parents. She wasn’t professional, caring in follow up, ans attentive along with Lynn who o enjoyed seeing just as much. All the women in the office greeted me as if we were old friends.

She performed a tubal ligation on me the day after my daughter was born in 11/2005. She didn't come talk to me or have me sign papers until I was just receiving anesthesia. My son was born 2/2007. When I contacted the office I was told not all tubal ligations are effective and I signed papers stating I understood that. (Yeah, in a hurry before the anesthesia took effect) No one ever followed up with me to see if he was okay (yes, I used a new OB/GYN when I learned I was pregnant with him)

Poor quality service. Will not listen to the patient properly. She is always in a hurry. Front desk have no manners.
