I am very grateful for having Dr. Phuphanich as my Neuro-Oncologist not only because of his the state of the art knowledge on brain tumors but also for caring about his patient so much. As the faculty of Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Phuphanich comes to my medical group’s cancer center once a week. However, he goes above and beyond office visits. He answered questions or inquired about my conditions via emails even during the weekend. When I was admitted to the emergency room, Dr. Phuphanich visited me twice in a few days. After I was discharged, he sent emails to my caregiver to make sure I was okay. I am so touched. Although treating brain tumors is an arduous journey, but office visits with Dr. Phuphanich were always easy and relax just like dealing with a trusted family. He listens to my concerns and takes time to explain my situation including the detail of MRIs. He always makes sure I am comfortable with the treatments, rather than just telling me what to do.
