I had a real bad contusion and hematoma on my left leg below the knee. Being heavy and pre-diabetic it was critical that it heal properly. The nurses and staff at the Jupiter Wound and Hyperbaric Center are really amazing in their warm personalities, care, skill and ability to cheerlead you through the slow-healing ordeal. For me it took just short of 4 months. Dr. Kacham is the doctor that first cleaned the wound and then saw me each week. He is so extremely caring, knowledgeable and professional, and very thorough in being sure you understand what to do - and what NOT to do. In my case, no doubt I would have flubbed it up if I didn't decide to take the situation seriously and listen to what he said and did exactly as I was told. Dr. Kachum and his exceptional nurses treated my 93 year old mother for an infected pressure sore on her foot. We were advised by Dr. Diaz from infectious disease that she had to have IV antibiotics for 2 weeks without giving us a diagnosis and would only do Telemedicine. So I found Dr. Kachum who diagnosed the problem and treated topically and resolved the issue in a few visits. The entire staff was so helpful and Dr. Kachum was very thorough and positive.

Dr. Kacham did an excellent job of healing a wound on my leg, for which I would highly recommend him. Also, however, he noticed that I had a very low pulse, about 30 bps, and immediately sent me by ambulance to Jupiter Medical Center emergency where I had a pacemaker inserted that day and was released the next day. He literally saved my life. In my opinion he is most competent and caring, deserving of the highest recommendation.
