She knows nothing about endometriosis!
If I could give 0 stars she would get that. This woman has no knowledge about endometriosis yet she decides to do a laparoscopic surgery on me (I’m thinking finally someone knows what’s wrong with me) & when it was over & I woke up she hadn’t touched a thing! She said “it’s beyond my surgical skill level” which obviously sounds scary. Then she laughed…yea she actually laughed & said “I can tell you it gets better with menopause or you could see a specialist there’s one in Hershey I think”I had stage IV deeply infiltrating endometriosis with a frozen pelvis. She said non of this. Only confirmed I had it. Deeply infiltrating means it’s on other organs not just reproductive ones & that means it’s a full body disease I had way more symptoms than I realized! She should have explained what stage it was, how bad it really was & what this meant for me & my future. I am infertile & already was when I saw her. this was not explained either. But I can now see she had no idea what to tell me bc

Unprofessional
She should be ashamed of herself! Very unprofessional as an MD. Needs to re-learn what compassion and caring are in regards to patient care.

Respectful and Thoughtful Provider
Dr. Angelisanti is one of the only physicians I have had in my life who truly listened to me rather than waiting for her chance to speak. I had waited for years and experienced countless rejections from doctors who believed that I am not capable of making my own medical decisions; this was not the case with Dr. Angelisanti. My thoughts were assessed and validated, and I had no issues with any part of the surgical process. She is a competent and approachable provider whose straightforward nature was appreciated by myself and my family. Making serious reproductive decisions, especially the decision to pursue a childfree lifestyle, is a long and difficult road in the United States. Dr. Angelisanti made it easy. I'll always be grateful to her and her team for helping me with such a vulnerable and personal decision.

Nothing but a bully. Unprofessional person. Telling people that if they did not have a c-section BEFORE their due date they would walk around with a dead baby inside them until they are forced to cut it out anyway. Also checking fetal heart rate with no gel saying "I guess it sounds strong". Formal complaints are being filed.
