Dr. Susan Federman, MD

A patient of Susan Federman for approx. 20 yrs., I have seen her a min. of every 6 mos. during that time. She has always taken very good care of me with any & all issues I have encountered. I felt we had a great relationship talking open & honestly about anything & finding humor with the same things affecting medical care in today's world. December 18, 2023, at 74, I received a certified letter from Susan Federman MD indicating the following: 'our physician/patient relationship is ineffective and I can no longer continue to provide services to you as your physician.' No warning; no negative encounters with doc or office staff & having a scheduled January 2024, appointment. I found myself being extremely hurt and then very abandoned. Dr. Federman has been my sole PCP since my moving to the area in 2000. At 74, I would've liked to have had continuity of care as I continue to age. And after a 20 year relationship, an explanation would have been nice. I have not changed, only got older!

Dr. Federman has always been a straight forward, open, honest and very thorough doctor. Her staff is always very prompt and attentive to patient needs. I cannot say enough with regards to the service and Dr. Federmans medical knowledge

Not a fan of Dr. Federman!!! Sorry guys. I found her to be extremely RUDE and arrogant!!! I went in for a sinus infection. After waiting 45 mins. in the exam was handed a box of Sudfed. Finally went to the E.R. with a 103 temp. where the the attending physician wrote a script for the appropriate antibiotic. My husband also went to her for a respiratory infection only to be treated for the symptoms and not the actual infection. Even the pharmacist commented on the course of treatment. I would STRONGLY STRONGLY recommended that one would do their research on Dr. Federman. Sometimes things are NOT as they appear!!! So many of the negative comments and post about the "beloved" doctor have been deleted!!

Very caring, extremely bright and knows what to do and where to send you to outstanding sub specialists when needed.

I have been a patient of Susan's for at least 20 years. She is caring and thorough. She goes beyond for you when it comes to the right treatment for you. You could not ask for a greater person than Susan for a doctor and advocate.

I have been a patient of Dr. Federman's for over ten years. She has consistently demonstrated a genuine concern for my overall health and well-being. She has always been forthright and honest with her diagnoses and referrals, and is prompt with follow-up communications and care. Dr. Federman is always well-prepared for my visit, takes the necessary time to explain and clarify issues, and is an overall pleasure to deal with. I am very pleased to have Dr. Federman as my primary care physician.

Dr. Federman is [expletive deleted] awesome. She's personable, impressively responsive, very intelligent, and knows her stuff. (I was trained as a doc, so I know she knows her stuff.) If you want the sort of doc who will bend to your every whim and do stupid stuff like give you antibiotics for a virus, don't go see her. If you want a professional, extremely competent, excellent physician who occasionally swears at her computer, she is the doc for you.
