Dr. Susan Hoffman, MD

I went to see Dr. Hoffman for my annual physical exam, I was billed for two visits, one for wellness and another one for diagnostic, just because the doctor asked me about my headache issue in the past.

Dr. Hoffman looks like she's on her way out the door when she stops into your room. She pushes vitamins that line the waiting room, which are insanely expensive. She wants you to come in for a check up EVERY 3 MONTHS, which is unheard of, just to get YOUR copay. She withholds medication if you do not come in at the 3 month mark and does not tell you that she denied your refill. Or if you don't go for blood work during the midst of Coronavirus, you may be marked as non compliant. This money hungry doctor, who is also very out of touch with modern medicine, and her crony front desk staff are the most judgemental, rude, and out of touch people I have ever dealt with. I have worked in health care for over 10 years and have never experienced anything like this. DO NOT GO HERE! There are plenty of good doctors in the KOP area. Don't waste your time or money. You'll regret it. I assure you.

While her level of care was excellent, she is a very greedy doctor. Don’t ask questions during an annual preventive care visit or else she will charge you for a sick visit on top of it.

I have been going to Dr. Hoffman for many years. I consider her my ally and my resource for all things wellness. She really listens and really cares. I always feel appreciated and respected. I am so lucky to have her as my primary care physician.

Right wing fanatic, worst doctor ever

I've never met a doctor who is obviously only practicing for the paycheck. She will nickle and dime you for everything, down to charging $5 to send prescriptions electronically to a pharmacy. She is currently sending me to collections for canceling an appointment. I made the appointment on a Friday at 4:00pm for the following Monday. I was no longer feeling ill and cancelled prior to the office opening on Monday. Her staff is unreasonable and RUDE!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Dr Hoffman was a pleasure to meet and very approachable. Excellent bedside manners.

My family and I have been patients of Dr Hoffman for 12 years. She is a thorough, compassionate, dedicated doctor. I feel fortunate to be under her care.

Dr. Hoffman is the best Primary Care Physician I have ever had. She is thorough, has excellent listening skills and takes however much time is needed to assess your health and provide you with the information and care you need to get and/or stay healthy. Another thing I love about this practice is the support staff. They are caring and attentive, which is just so rare today. Think about it, when is the last time you had something good to say about your doctor's office staff? Go here!

We have been a patient of this practice for 8 years. We have 6 family members who also see Dr. Hoffmann. Being a nurse we can appreciate how thorough she is and she is always right about the diagnosis. We also appreciate her first line of defense is health and wellness. Everything she says about vitamins, especially D is supported in the literature. She does a terrific job with our teenagers. We love her staff and the office is always clean.

Dr Hoffman is the most caring, considerate doctors I've ever found. I'm shocked to find people aren't gushing over her and her staff. I agree the vitamins are expensive-but she pushes them because they are better for you and far from comparable.

Less then zero. My mother has been a patient with Dr Hoffman for almost 25 years. My mother almost died in December 2015, she was release from the hospital late January 2016. Oh not once did Hoffman go see her in the hospital. My mother was too weak to go to the office of The mighty Dr Hoffman, so we had to cancel few appt So she discharged her as patient in February 2016. Who wants that as a family doctor. Beware of that office.

She certainly has an agenda, she sells a lot of products and is a distributor for an expensive line of meal replacements and vitamins. Unsurprisingly she'll recommend that you need multiple vitamins and also at much higher levels than typically recommended. I don't mind that she wants expensive extra blood work done annually, but each time she'll say that it shows a vitamin deficiency and recommend more vitamins, but of course if you ask if there is a comparable drug store brand... No.

went in for a physical and came out with a bill for 5 different dx codes. At the time I thought she was being a thorough doctor by asking questions, but came to find out that she was initiating questions so she could charge me money for the visit. I think that's horrible way to do business and gain trust from your patients. I will not be going back.
