Unprepared and judgemental
We have been with Southampton Pediatrics since my child was born. We have had the pleasure of meeting with Drs. Klein, Lam, and Clark over the years. When Clark left and was replaced with Kassuto, it was the first time I felt uncomfortable with any of the providers. I gave it a solid year and her suggestions for all care is a "do nothing" approach. Meanwhile, at the annual physical, it was pretty obvious she had not read the chart and was asking questions on previous visits that were already documented. We switched to another office, but felt so strongly about the situation that we felt there was no other choice. Her bedside manner is pretty "cold" as she peers at you over her glasses.

We definitely agree with the comments regarding Dr Kassuto's condescending manner during our 3yr old daughter's first visit with her. We were immediately put on the defensive, which seemed rather odd during a well check up. She is a new physician at our current pediatrician's office and we will not be seeing her again.

Compared to the other doctors in this practice, Dr. Kassutto lacked bedside manner. She was vague & condescending when answering questions & gave the impression that the appointment with our son was a waste of her time. I will not be taking my son to see her again.
